Gosh I hope not, I may also be turning into mine but I hope i'm a new and upgraded model. More coping abilities, thinner body, and although she did live to 86, more healthy. I may look like her but I'm now fated not to make her mistakes.[emoji12] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

You are a work in progress and a lovely one at that. Keep on until you reach all your goals, it is more than worth the struggle[emoji254][emoji259][emoji106][emoji13] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

Is there anything, you liked before but might come in a lower calorie version or that you could add protein powder to? Are you far enough that you can have meats? When I get hungry like that I reach for my StarKist tuna pouchs, run about $1 at,WallyWorld and other groceries, many different flavors, I stir in a little lower calorie mayo if it seems dry, a good source of protein and if I don't eat it all I don't feel as bad about throwing it in the trash as I would if it was a whole can.[emoji13] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

How long from initial visit til surgery
frust8 replied to hotmessmom's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My son found out his insurance Caresource requires 9 months. We only know this because he went with me to Bariatric seminar, I have different insurance that required a lot less. Technically he has 37BMI with 1 comorbidty so would qualify but he hasn't had his "come to Jesus" moment about his weight. So I'm not pressuring at this point, remember I wouldn't have taken it too well, back in my younger days. Although I do wish I had been smart enough,to seek it in my 30,40, or even 50s,and avoided the joint replacements from where my weight,"sproing- ed" them beyond easy repair. Oh you know hindsight,is 20/20[emoji12] whereas our every day is slightly flawed[emoji22]But we keep on keeping on until we reach the finish. Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app -
I wonder if you could use ground turkey instead of chicken? Turkey is pretty cheap where I live. Big turkey farm in town nearby, drives prices down to manageable levels, actually, cheaper than ground beef. Used to love hamburgers and other g.b., But they, don't sit well and hard to swallow. Chew everything down as well as possible with dentures, even though still presurg,my gastritis made me enter "spring training" early, maybe after my surgical "call up to the Major Leagues" I'll have the skill down pat[emoji12] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

Whole herd of kangaroos--for April. Good luck to each and every one of you[emoji13] Don't get me wrong, I do love all of our sleeved brothers [emoji67]and sisters[emoji68] and there is quite a nice group of them. But you RnYers you're my true peeps, you all hang in the neighborhood I yearn to join, at the corner of Pouch and Bypass. Have a peaceful weekend and sunny [emoji93] days to all of You!![emoji173] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

Most people on here Celebrate, you can order from Bariatric Pals Store on here. Also Amazon but why give Mega-opolosis more money? Alex Brecher and Bariatric Pal look out for our best interests and he doesn't handle anything that isn't in our best interests![emoji12] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

Caution: Top Plastic Surgeons Mexico City
frust8 replied to Juliepet's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
Go to BariatricPalMX, they now do plastic surgeries too. If you insist on going out of US or Canada, that would be the ONLY place I would go. Don't get mixed up with these other jokers[emoji22], you deserve better than that![emoji7]PS I'm not one of their employees , I live in Ohio, far away from Mexico, but any place Alex Brecher himself would trust his body to would be Aces in my book [emoji12] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app -

Glad to see continued movement on your journey. There are people I enjoy postings from and I count you among them. I was enjoying myself today reading away until I saw a posting from one of the few I found a detriment, gosh I had hoped she would go inactive but maybe she is of some use to another poster. Maybe I'll live and let live[emoji20] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

Anyone N-W Ohio area ?
frust8 replied to Sonyawon's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I don't have a date yet, it all pivots on my psychology appointment with OSU staff psychologist Dr Kramer on April 25th. After that I believe it will scheduled[emoji414] in May?[emoji13] I entertain no thoughts except favorable this time[emoji106]. I think I can see the lights [emoji93]of victory ahead and it is not a mirage. I have worked so hard, done so much, I cannot and will not allow it to be wrenched out of my grasp again[emoji20]. Victory and Power to the RnY Princess[emoji126] of Truth and Valour for I believe it to be ME![emoji123] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app -

Yeah but he still should learn, even if his skills are bar- b- que level. One thing about the Late Lamented --he was a better short order cook than I was. I am good with cassarole, souffle, cake pie and Cookies. My tush and tummy show what happened to my few failures. But he could do a perfect over easy egg[emoji505], I seldom pleased him with my egg efforts so I told him to cook his own. To this day I still inwardly flinch if anyone wants anything, but scrambled. That's how bad the residual memories are, I have PESS, post egg stress syndrome. So since for 44 years I heard I just butchered eggs-'- I make the best scrambled eggs[emoji493] possible. Most foods I cook only too well, that's why my current shape resembles a cement pillar. Ah --but my dear friends-- I plan to get to the stage where I have an hourglass[emoji352] shape again. Well really I do now-- if I wear more form fitting clothes I do have a shape, The problem is instead of 36-24-36 I am 56-44-57 and they don't make Juniors in a 25 or 27, do they?[emoji22] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

I hope if OSU requires anything else they schedule it within a condensed time period[emoji354] so I can still make it before summer. It does get hot in the summer in Ohio, but I'm preaching to the choir whining to a Texan, aren't I? I'm trying to believe every day brings me closer, keeping a smile[emoji12] on my face until I have to cry again. And maybe my crying days[emoji11] are now over! Wish Richard would make another video. There are current songs out there that would lend themselves to a "Sweating" albumn[emoji12] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
