I hope my,ortho can get it fixed up by removing my hardware that's been there for 9 years since I broke it at work, and Workmans Comp wheels grind very slow, especially when it,is against an self- insured ex- employer. They can be in No Hurry to settle. Suspect,they may have been saying,novena for my early,demise, but fooled them- I kept on living! But this arm is impinging on my Life quality, had to pop a Norco so I could sleep at 3 AM. Got myself a special heating pad from Sunbeam with Velcro straps, I does help a lot, takes the pain down to a dull roar but you aren't allowed to sleep with one on! And chrissymcm08, I take 60 mg of Dexilent each AM before good. Omeprazole WAS NOT GASTROPROTECTIVE for me, ulcerated under therapy,from my gastroenterologist in late 2017, when they put me on it again post- surgery I developed 2 in my brand- New pouch, and a string of them down my jejunem(second section,of small intestine) and that war is finally being solved when they permitted me to revert,to Dexilent in November. I am the exception to their rule, and I doubt,i ever will be able,to stop this PPI. My firm feelings since I went into this with a history of gastritis and Hector, my then sleeping small Gastric Ulcer, I should have been on Carafate also from the very beginning, never was started until 6 weeks in and we are STILL playing catch-up. Yeah it is true, had a male surgery twin, went into this game approximate. same size. He lost like Gangbusters, I limped along, isn't faur, is it?

Try the clear protein drinks if you can. Good one is Premier Protein Clear, have also done protein 2 0 and even Ensure has a clear ones a little less protein but passable. Also try cutting your shakes half-strength with skim milk, sure it make take longer,but we all use these tricks if necessary. Sir protein powder in your protein fluids, add it where you can. For a shor5 while I even drank skim milk with a scoo0 of Genepro in it.And you wIll make it through.

Those are very, very good NSV Goldilocks. You got to count all those victories because they will mount up to a Big Grande one someday!

And I still do my share of throwing up, mine has not been an average. recovery and healing,but I am still so much better off than a year ago, Would not go back!

And you may discover things later you never liked that you do now. And perhaps they will stay down where these things don't. I still have trouble with Greek Yogurt, cottage cheese and bananas and I'm 7 months past surgery. And all 3 were go-to prior to surgery, so I do miss them.

How can we help? Almost all of us have survived the liver shrinking/ preop liquid diet, although it is no fun it does get you prepared. I did the entire month of August 2018, lost 15 pounds, made my liver sleek smooth and healthy, and I believe that was a good part of why my surgery was so pain-free and I did so well. No gas , almost none of the Bad things you read of on here.It does get you used to liquids and you will certainly be on them after surgery. They to find ones you can stand the taste of, also there are protein waters you can try. My current fab flavor is Ensure High Protein Strawberry , for various reasons, although I am 7 months out I still have at least 1 a day. Anyway it tastes just like Strawberry Quik to me. Many like Premiere Protein,or Muscle Milk, I used to like the Blueberry Greek Yogurt flavor. Some like Atkins, I didn't that much. I am hindered because I am allergic to chocolate and bored with think,white,tasteless vanilla and those are the easiest to find. So how are you suffering, Just emotionally? Come on tell me, I'm old enough to be your grandma at the least , probably great grandma so I don't shock easy anymore. And I do care, I want everyone to have good experiences, with weight loss, certainly lived a long,life without it, and am much happier with it! I just had one on March 11th,not all bad, got there at 8:30AM and was done by 2:30 PM, feel good after,no nausea or bad effects then. My problem, and keep in mind it probably isn't the norm, happened the next day and night. Started out okay, had a BM, and then the tsunami hit. My body decided " Too much iron" " must get rid of it" started with a massive black black sticky BM which went on and on until 3 AM when I was passing filthy mop water, 3 of them and finally it was over. I had Black bm before when trying oral pills, but not so much volume and frequency. Should have weighed myself, maybe the stall corrected itself. PCP said might be every 3 months, I will hear up because I still have had increased energy and no so short of breath, maybe my red blood cells are happy too and more willing to carry my oxygen to my body! Don't worry , I honestly think I am the only one with 💩problems out of the deal!

Freestyle sounds like no style at all, don't think I would want a surgeon who merely " eye-balls" their work. Always thought,itwas a pretty straightforward thing, the sleeve, then you hear of posters with hour-glass shaped stomach remnants, ones that were big and floppy, and you say " I just don't know" maybe I'm lucky I was a RnY bypass, although I bet there may be misshapen or wrong- sized pouch too.

I would go with clears like broth, Tomato Soup is infamous for its high sugar/carb content, many a Bari- pal has had a crash landing into dumping with Mr Red and liquid!
