And your Sodium levels don't skyrocket?
  2. Yeah you learn after. that while you can control some things you're fatalistic about others. Sur it doesn't sparkle, glitter is over-rated in the first place, but you can And will still with a smooth steady flow. You are still functioning, , your pilot light is still lit, and you realize it was all due to plan, God's, not yours necessarily. But Baby it is still a pretty good life so smile😝 at it all!

    1 LB

Suspect my hospitalization in late November was for that reason, they told protein- anemia complicated by malnourishment My body was in that mode perhaps to save ME A PICC line and 3 months of TPN ensued, sure stopped my fast weight loss, but I accepted that, I truly did want to live! As soon as the PICC line was removed, I dropped 30 pounds and am I happy to report I now weigh 228. If that still, seemed excessive, remember I weighed 365 when I raised my little hand to join bariatric Palm So I am happy to report this! Still a big girl, may simply be my Karma but I am smaller, not in so much pain and feel I have a strong hope for my future. At 73 you just no longer know how many days your allotment is, but stiil The Rest of My Life will be The Best of My Life, this I do promise. Now I can get up and say "Lord what have planned for me today?;" ther is no scale on the bathroom to reproach mr, and I find something of beauty in each day. I do believe Frustr8 is gonna make it after alll!

I would worry that Biotin might make my chin hairs and faint mustache to worsen. Sure it would be nice to have think head hair but at,this cost?
  7. And if you need it, you'll have an Iron INFUSION like I did in March. Really nothing scary-larry about it. We had life-changing my iron to ferrous fumerate, also called Ferrocite, nice medicine but my body just wasn't utilizing it properly. Hence the INFUSION. A lot better than when they gave you Z-track injections, those critters hurt major big time! But my philosopy-just one more way I vary from the norm, it's MY JOURNEY , win or lose, and I am a winner 😝

    Gastric Bypass - Help?!

You don't want to live in Woulda- Shoulda- Coulda Land , it is a Sad Sad Sad place to hang your Hat! And I am so happy I moved to KangarooLand where we all have Pouches, just wish it had been long long ago so I would have had more years to enjoy time. Oh well if I died tomorrow my pallbearer won't get hernias lifting me, saddest one I ever heard was one person they put on a sort of trolley to take to the grave, the casket was Too Heavy to lift. Praise God it's not ME they are talking about!

    Good Morning

And to you also, there is beauty in every day, and as I grow smaller I see it more and more! Pretty soon I hope to be Half the woman I once was, and that will be more than twice as wonderful as I ever suspected it would be! I guess I might be channeling Disney a little but,it truly is "A Brand New World" and I am overjoyed to still be here to enjoy it!😝🌈

    Non Scale Victories

With or without sharp scissors in your hands? Congratulations are sent your way at any rate! Deliberate Happy Occurance for you!
  11. Your Younger Years are not behind you, imagine if I showed up at 73, after they finished rolling on the floor they would remind me Lourdes is in France and far far from Central Ohio. Besides as stretched out as my skin probably is, I would need seat belt retractors on my arms and inner thighs. Everybody mentions Bat Wings, what about Harem Pants thighs, that's skin not voluminous chiffon and sequins below .my hips. While everybody else fears a strong wind will take them airborne, well my former Thunder Thighs will be clapping a fond farewell as they sail over!
  12. I'm at 228, down from 319 at surgery 7.5 months ago, I almost cried yesterday at PCP office when nurse weighed me, NEVER DID I REALLY BELIEVE This old Gal could go THAT low! My NP at bariatric surgeon's office, Valerie would be satisfied with anything under 200, suppose I could be also except I would like to see if I COULD MAKE IT DOWN to 175, and my dream of a 15 Junior size, under this still cracking Fat Shell that's what I think I am. When was I ever THAT SIZE? Would you believe 14, that was right after I ballooned to that weight from 110 at 13. Family Doctor promised my dead late Mama as soon as my hormones smoothed out I would drop the extra weight like a snap of my fingers. This means I have been waiting 60 years, and I think, that is plenty long enough! As I look back, and peeps, people. my age are better at past than today, and the thought of tomorrow? Cover that when we get there! Well only bono- fide change I can remember in Family diet was we went from regular to homogenized milk. Our dairy locally got absorbed by a conglomerate and that was only way they sold dairy products. Is it too late to sue Sealtest as a contributor to my obesity downfall? Guess the Statue of Limitations has long past, but I could feel at least😋😭🌺🌸 some vindication!

    Slipped already!

)Well after the painful encounter with ham salad on toast last weekend I have been avoiding the bread family sincerely. Someone told ME your pouch can handle toast, hers might, mine sure didn't!👈😫👉

My binge-worthy, DrPimplePopperDrPimplePopper, followed maybe Texas Flip and Move. Tomkitten likes 600pound Losers and Dr Now, I think he can be Too Mean, glad my surgeon has the right approach for me. And since we finally got Netflix he really enjoys it, me if I watch I usually head for the comedians, life can. be bitter, sometimes I need to just escape, then I get back to Positive and Sunny!🌞😝👍

    NSAIDs

Yeah you're right but I at least don't smell of ligament when I use that Voltaren. I keep reminding me how much, lowered my arthritis pain is now but when I get up in the A M all bets are off!😫

    Terrible procrastination

You'll never lose weight living on Someday Isle, but you will get out of it what you put in and sometimes the end result surpasses even you expectations.

How to Go about Lap Band Removal?

If you can't find one in private practice, consider your nearest " Teaching"/ University Hospital. Not only will they provably do it they may have clinics you can go through that may be lower- price-point.
  20. He's just a " Refering Fool" at times! Sometimes I yearn for the days when Doctors practiced General Medicine, showing my age aren't I?
  21. If you are getting adequate fluids and still have dark urine along with your clay- colored 💩I definitely would say Gall Bladder or liver problems. And with liver get even more symptoms, but to allay your fears see either your surgeon if you're still in Early Days or your PCP if you're farther along. My PCP is an internal medicine specialist and he just ❤sharing ME with all his buddies in other specialis
  22. Update us when everything is completed, we love celebrating your victories with you!
  23. I'm sure it does happen, there was a guy mentioning that when I first joined Bariatric Pal. Then last year there was a girl that they did go ahead and the surgeon leveraged her liver, suspect,it happened when trying to move,he4 liver out of the way. Oh she recovered pretyu, goood but it was a miserable recovery. that she had. So Yeah very very rare , but it could happen. The fact that you did your . sinning" early in this process and went on to lose 10 pounds should work. out to your benefit. Looking forward to an update posting when your surgery is completed!

    February 2019 weight loss buds

Bulgogi- is that the Korean BBQ/grilled beef? If it is, it sounds luscious. Did you get it as restaurant food @SleevednowAK or was it homemade? I usually enjoy Oriental-type things, haven't done any restaurant- ing since my surgery., Weird isn't it, I no longer have. a raging appetite but a lot of things sound so good in theory! Felt a little sorry for the Bari- pal the other day for trying to sneak a Reeses Peanut Butter Egg. One bite, said it tasted like Yucky, that bite and the rest of the Egg, right into the trash! Guess that means I'm better off not listening to Brain Prompts!😝🍛🍷🍜
