BariatricPal Multivitamin ONE "1 per Day!" Bariatric Multivitamin CHEWABLE with 45mg Iron is now available!
Frustr8 replied to Alex Brecher's topic in Protein, Vitamins, and Supplements
Not too expensive when you consider what you're getting. Remember Alex is one of us, went from lap-band to MGB, didn't come in all this from corporate greed but to find the best things for us and himself too. I have placed several orders with the Bariatric Pal store, products are good, shipping is prompt, and you know he would not stock items he. would not give himself or his family or others he loves. -
And much,as I hate telling you to dull your diet down, start dropping spicy foods and such, see if it makes a difference. Your sleeve may be crying inside " Please treat me a little more tenderly I'm just a little slender critter!!"

So last bit of waiting game

May it all good smooth for you @sassskin, looking forward to go reports from YOU! -
DON'T BE DOWN! Even when you don't rapidly drop pounds you will drop inches. And it's All Good! Remember sometimes you are not a Race 🚗 Car but a Jalopy 🚘 chug-a-chugging along. We still get to our goals, it is an eventual process but it does happen. And sometimes slow and easy is,better for,YOY in the long run!

Sticking my toe in the water...
Frustr8 replied to Libby63's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Many of them you are able to cut back or drop. As you lose weight your body will need them less and less. FYI you are not Too Old! I am 73, 8 and a half months out, had some weird things happen to me along my journey but never would. I go back to slowly dying with obesity and all the sorrow it entailed for me. I have now lost 150 pounds from my highest weight, 104 pounds since my RNY last September 5th, just about ready to go into an 18 from my 28-30W, seeing Onederland just AHEAD, will be so much happier under 200 pounds. I am now less weight than I was when I delivered my Tomkitten, my youngest and he will be 40 on June 12th. Not over-happy I now weigh 40-50 pounds less than him, bad for my Baby's ego, started making noises about Bariatric Surgery for himself. Told him I would be happy to introduce him to my Dr Bradley J Needleman at OSU, but after that the decision will be between the 2 of them. I will support him in whichever the directions end up! -
Every thing you go through now prepares you for what is ahead. And a thought from Carl Jung Life Truly begins at 40, up until then everything is Research.

My late cousin's Mike had a birthday that day. The closest this only child had to a brother. 17 months younger than me, died about 5 years ago of ALS. With your surgery this year JayTissle, it will no longer be a sad anniversary for me. May your surgery go wonderfully on Monday!

Not Kate, but nasty foamy slime you throw up. Nasty to look at, worse I think to produce it. I prefer Frank Emesis, if you ever thought you would be desirable to lose a whole meal.

Day 9 of pre surgery liquid diet. But... I want pickles! Can I have them?!
Frustr8 replied to Tiffany L.'s topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
If you go through Ohio State University Hospital like me, you are never permitted them again Big Red lettering in my Life After Surgery Booklet. And nobody seems willing to discuss it! -
Was anyone else told not to shave their legs 4 days before surgery?
Frustr8 replied to KimB7811's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My response to surgery, double washing with Gold liquid Dial, second application, leave on for 5 minutes before rinsing. Worked for my Bariatric Surgery, last September and for my own shoulder surgery. April 4th. -
Take an stuffed animal or small pillow with you, it hurts a lot less to " cough" if you can splint your incisions. I'm an asthmatic so I know what I'm preaching about!👍😛❤

And an update for you Jonah and everyone else, my weight miracle surgery has enabled me to be just be a little over 15 pounds to Onderland, and when I consider how far I have come to make here, I start sniffling a little. And I pray for you the joy I have now, Jonah, Good Luck in your search, I know my life has improved so much!

I'm resurrecting this for a good purpose, at least it seems that way to me. There was an ad in the personals in my local newspaper tonight and it really hit home for me. A young lady named Sharon was pleading for a live kidney donor. She has Stage 5 Kidney disease, has found no one close to a match among relatives and acquaintances. So she was pleading if there was ANYONE at all that would be willing to be tested. It was well-written and you know I cried to read it. I would maybe be perfect except I'm too dang old, they don't consider anyone past 70 even I have 3 kidneys in pretty good shape. I wish too she had mentioned her blood type, she might find a match quicker that way. So in the midst of our own troubles let's say a little prayer that her transplant may cone in time. Makes all my problems not seem bad at all!

Frustr8 replied to allies journey's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
🙏My prayers also for YOU!❤ -
But you will find out what works for you. Don't beat yourself up if it does take that long, I often get tired of them before they're completed, tell myself they are a feel better medication so slowly finish it down!

But may things still work out to YOUR benefit!

Weirdest things you are looking forward to after surgery
Frustr8 replied to Krestel's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Eating the right thing in the right amounts, planning to plant and grow some items, today is our last normal frost day, so should be " gravy" from now on. Otherwise looking like a Foxy Lady instead of someone's Big Momma, I will relinquish my title to Martin Lawrence and Tyler Perry, they both can have all the things that go with such a role. Otherwise, less short of breath, able to move smoother, quicker and without those groans I used tease,my older relatives about, I now make those sounds myself!!! And best of all, living a good long while in this crazy Earth. 🌎, have a deep urge to see 👀what happens next.
