Try infusing your water with Citrus slices or something else. One of my Bari-pals swore by cucumber slices, another Springs of Mint. I have always found RoomTemperture Waters were sent by Satan, so I iced or chilled them.

I am and was an RNY Bypass, surgery-weight was 319. At 8.5 months I am approaching Onederland, if last weight correct, within 12 pounds, with my blips and bumps, feared I would NEVER make it. But I am on the brink and. will never go back to what I was before. No food tastes so good as feeling smaller feels. I keep "undergrowing" my clothing. only thing that still fits from last summer are my sandals, and they are almost too wide. Your feet don't sprawl out so much with less weight pushing down on them. I tell my son my face looks like a train wreck on the B&O, he says it is not, and besides everything is AMTRAK anyway. I have almost Native American cheekbones, who would have thought they were lurking under my Moon-shaped Face? Sorry Aunt Minnie for all your denials, but there is Too Much Evidence in the Family Pictures, there a few Indians in Our Family Woodpile! Not everybody sent back to England and Europe for Wives! At least I have more rights to be here than the Average Settler did. I'm not wrong and Still Buckeye strong!😛❤😛

My biggest surgical Worry? That I would wake up to find out my Surgeon had backed out and refused to do my surgery. First thing I did when I was put in my Post- Surgery Room? Flipped my gown up to my chest to make sure I had my 6 little slits, actually I had 7, I had forgotten he also uses the navel as a portal. I hurt so subtly I was concerned very much! All was well then, the blips and bumps in my recovery came much later!

Loved those Leg Pumpers, my calves do tend to ache, at 73 it does happen, but they felt so good while lessening my chances of throwing a clot from inactivity!

They are considered to be a BIOHAZARD, of all things and I assume they cremate them or something similar. Too bad , I would have liked to have the one that absessed and left me looking like a chipmunk for a while. Would have to put in a jar, that way I could shake it every once in a blue moon and say " Now who won that arguement!"

You like buttered bread, well I did too. Baked a lot of bread myself, was good enough I could easily sold it, had I wanted. Even had branchedto artisan breads for more challenge. Then i had bariatric surgery, lost most of my inate desire for bread and rolls . A while back Tomkitten,my son, asked for Ham Salad on toast, and oh it did look and smell lovely! So yours truly decided to cut one up into teen tiny pieces,i had heard if you toasted it , it would not ball up in your new renovated tummy. Oh Sweetheart, within 15 minutes I was in Misery city Hurting, puking, crying my eyes out, that was something I will not do Again! And it was no more than 1/8th sandwich. Have not had anything made with wheat flours again, cake, bread, cookies, pie, it just ain't worth the grief your body will put YOU through. Oh things do change a lot! The good News, after years of trying every diet known to Modern Man and a few I suspect my doctors dreamed up to torture me, I have and still am losing weight. I have lost 150 pounds since my highest weight, oh I WAS a Big Girl, 104 since my surgery nearly 8 1/2 years ago.

Well I had half a bottle of caramel protein shake, told myself I needed the protein it contained. Made decaf Constant Comment and poured it in . Tasted like cheap Chai Tea you might get at the $1 store, wish I had made myself some decaf coffee, would have tasted better!

True, Stay Strong in the continuing battle! Make those "stones" turn into tiny pebbles, I believe YOU CAN DO IT!

Don't know how, Precious Pouch still has me brow-beaten, still retaining her egg-shaped figure, won't stretch or accept anything she doesn't like. I get the feeling she is like a Tupperware container with a pinhole at the bottom which is the stoma. No motility, feels like she drains by gravity instead. Do the sever nerves when you receive surgery ? If so, how long does it take for them to regenerate? These are questions nobody has given me definite answers to! Stop patting me on the head like Bowser the dog,tell me how proud you are of my weight loss, give me answers , not placebos and not benign neglect. I promise to stop my whine when you supply what I need! Rant temporary concluded!✊👸

And I must speak up for my Strawberry Ensure High Protein, to me it tastes exactly like Starwberry Quik. A little pricey but. Roy my dietician gave me coupons for $3 off on one, last week there was a $5 off on 2 and you also can download them off of their app/website. I don't taste that fakey evaporated milk taste so many seem to have. And they also have a clear form, both fruit punch and blueberry- pomegranate flavors. A little lower protein content. but still within tolerable levels. And it is Ohio-made!👍😛
