They kept me in my room, on 02 and on Leg Pumpers. I would much rather walked , met other recouperees and not felt like I was under punishment, for my age or something worse! If I had not had my son staying with me, I would have died of loneliness. They just came in once a shift, did my vitals and then left, hardly spoke to me, since I had only got to protein shakes before dismissal, I didn't even see Dietary!

He did the traditional then went down farther into the ileum, almost to level of a high colonoscopy. Had to have pumped gas in to be better ascertain. An gastroenterologist instead of the General/Bariatric surgeons I had been having. An hour- abd- half after I got home the pain set in, under both shoulders and across my chestn and I toured with the idea that I was DYING! Couldn't sleep, finally sat up , figured if I died, at least my son wouldn't find me in bed. And the Emergency Squad, the way my house/apartment is set up with no doorways in a straight linr, they would not be able to get the gurney in. I have lost over a 120 pounds since surgery , much thinner but still an Ample Sample of WomanFlesh. The living room you would have to make only one sharp turn through the dining room, so feasable if necessary. Finally somebody mentioned GAs , I took my walker because I could not stand up straight enough for my cane and started walking. Still got evaluated at the ER because I wanted to make certain I didn't have any ❤damage, so sue me, I AM 73, you surely don't suspect anything else! And THAT is a whole nother story, a quickly EKG, blood draw and left me in the ER lobby for 5 hours in a Wheelchair. If I had been pregnant I could have delivered and enrolled the baby in Head Start while I was there! And way back before surgery I was a soda pop drinker, even a few times beer or ale, NEVER THIS MUCH GAS AND NEVER THIS MUCH PAIN! Delivering Tomkitten at 9 1/2 pounds and a natural vaginal birth, a summer picnic in comparison! Going to tell Dr Ipchurch, the GI, if he is harbour ring any delusions of a follow-up colonoscopy aim staying awake to make sure he doesn't get too Pump- Happy! I finally used Keto Diet and also, that my allergies had flared up. Anyone who has known me very l9ng would know I have fought quite a battle with them in the past. One semi- friend told me if I had completed my series of allergy shots, I wouldn't have any problems! The fact that when I was terminated from my job and lost that insurance, I had no money to continue, did not enter into her mind. Perhaps she thought my pretty face would be enough payment. So to her I let my allergist take the blame instead of my bariatric surgeon. Oh if she had been a nicer type I MIGHT have told her the truth. There are people I have been totally honest with but MY LIFE-MY BUSINESS - if you are not paying for it, you are not required to KNOW ANYTHING! As Edith Anne on Laugh- in and Manny Yocum from Little Abner have said" I HAS SPOKEN!"

This may have started the thread many many moons ago but it still says a lot. I just broke into the 100s yesterday, and I'm sure I will miss Just My Size a lot in undies, not the clithes, just the undies. But I do have a Catherine's in Columbus, they currently call it C-BUS and I will make do through it all because I even with photo documentation will find it difficult to get Medicare or Medicaid to pay for plastics. But you know the weight loss, it still is all good , and I am certain GOD won't demand I go commando at the end! Have a shining sparkling day EVERYONE!

I am arthritic, have been , both major kinds since age 25. I have been blessed that I have had no major flares recently. The few I have had Tylenol or Norco has handled. Funny it never really worked for me before surgery. My joints arthritis destroyed will never be perfect again, I have 2 knew replacements, had metal plates in right arm, now removed, from a FX of the humerusc9 years ago, and had to have joint at base of my right thumb removed. Now I am recovering from rotator cuff surgery. But I move smoother and at a quicker rate of speed than before my surgery. And the 165+ pounds since highest weight and 119 since surgery, both wonderful occurances in my life!. Do I regret SURGERY even with a history of Arthritis? NO NO--- A THOUSAND TIMES--- NO! Without it I potentially would be much more crippled and was not too far from being Wheelchair bound. I am sorry I cannot go full tilt at gym exercises but those my body will permit I do faithfully, water therapy is a blessing, I bike ride although I will never qualify for Pelatonia, support them from the sidelines, and do that to honor the cancer people in my family, living and dead. I can still pass out water, help in these minor ways, cheer them on! They routed through my county last year, I live 50 miles from Columbus, if they choose to come here again I will be there cheering my lungs out in sincerity! I haven't had to visit my rheumatologist, my PCP has been able to handle me. I thank my surgeon for my surgery, my PCP and other doctors for standing with me through this all and I would now feel a success story still in the making. God Bless and Watch over YOU.

I take the Spring Valley(i think that's correct, so many of my over- the- counter ones at Wal-Mart). Oh shoot ,,,let me go look. I'm texting instead,of Sleeping tonight. Nope I WAS WRONG, it's Natures Bounty with the Pink label, I take 2 cgelcapc at a time, the Spring Valley was the one, the pills gave me indigestion. I had an RNY to cure GERD, do not need indigestion! How long have I taken them? Started about 10 weeks after surgery, has it worked? Well I am a redhead, we have the fewest per square inch hair follicles, I barely have thinned. Weird where I did- my bangs lost their thickness, I b justvdont sweat it, just combed them back into the chair behind. So what if I have more of a pixie than a Dutch bob, I've still got hair! And these days it comes in handy!
