I had something similar, my surgeon thought a small skin blood vessel got knicked, when I got enough Lovenox into my system, it started slowly oozing, nearly covered my abdomen with blood between the skin and muscle layer. Slightly swelled up, looked like I had been impregna by an alien!👹

Wow that is a Wonderful offer, Alex, I bet many take you up on this one, that's a Great Savings over a lot of brands out on the retail market! How long do you think you will be able to do this? I might get some for myself but Social Security doesn't bless me until after July 1sr. -
How much calcium citrate does everyone take?
Frustr8 replied to shellyk018's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I take 1000mg liquid Calcium Citrate (brand name Wellesse) every AM, mid-morning, and the same every PM, approximately mid- evening. If that seems excessive , that is the dosage a broken- down 73 year old seems to require 👵👓🌂 -
Always keep your mouth closed while you juggle! Its not Cheese Balls for me, it's Simply Cheetos White Cheddar Puffs, they have been known to knock at my lips demanding entrance!

What does dehydration feel like?
Frustr8 replied to Briswife15's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
People do better on Fluid Drive, keep water if nothing else going on even if have to revert to 2 oz every 15 minutes like I have a few times. Then reads back in protein shakes even if half strength and go from there. -
Hey I'm sorry , my mind. is moving. much faster than my fingers. Can you read any of the above? Basically drop fast food and carbohydrates, more liquids now even if you have to resort to weak unsweetened tea, water truly will become a best friend. I am surprised without evidence of a serious try at loss you would even be scheduled unless you are private pay or going to Europe. can't visuluze NHS with all the d3kays and rules sanctioning this now. But I am only a new friend in the US, know my surgeon€ who,i really respect, and like) would have scheduled YOU, yes you certainly show need but you don't show commitment to stay the course. But I sincerelybwish you luck invthis!

Hopefully your band will help with that because you suddenly will find your portion size will get much smaller, you will be on luquids, make the progressi9n back to2ard mo4e solid foods. Is NHS doing this and your time has finally come up? I ask b ecauae in US and Canada without some prework it is doubtful you would receive surgery without showing evidence of pre- work. before mine, I had to lose downnvi had lost 32 pounds, lost 15 in the month before, mine I lost over one of your stone and 8n the Real m9nys since 149, so we'll over 10 stone. e When you get back to solider it will be protein first, veggies next, v fruit much later, that's pretty universal. I am surprised your surgical didn't put you on the MilkvDiet, UK seems gung-ho for it . You will go clear luquids, murky liquids, purees, then thicker and thicker foods. Yo7 may also start on Optifast or other protein shakes. At this late stage, start by cutting out or seriously cu5 back carbohydrates, most if n9t all fast foods, all those lovely things 5hat taste so good but are so bad for you. Start drinking more fluids, at very least try weak unsweetened t3a. Your body will not be very happy with you because your calorie intake will plummet like jumping off the White Cliffs of Dover . Expect dizziness, your or tummy growllingvand complaining g or you will be in a emotional and physical trvail before it's all over. But with strength you can do it! And many of us do wish you well on what you're undertaking.

How does. realize the used to be Shuttle Bus it was pretty narrow on the lift but I find now there is plenty of room onv5he platform. -
Yes it sure is and the first time you sit on an unpadded chair-- you will see what I mean, You will swear your pelvic bones are going to extrude out your skin, because it feels like you have lost the last bit of gluteal fat. I am amazed daily what bone I will feel just below my skin surface, Tomkitten says I like to stroke my clavicle, maybe so, it had been many years,. they went "undervover with either the1st or secobd Great Weight Gain. And I stroke. it just to say "Great to see and feel you once again!"

Well Sheribear life really starts being the Real Thing after 40. Up till then, you basically are doing Market Reaserch. So to continue that line of reasoning, you were still young, a perfect age to have your Surgery! No wonder you basically are doing well now, You Are Still In Your Prime! -
Personal question.. laxative or dumping syndrome?
Frustr8 replied to shellyk018's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I know after I took Ducolax pills, got the expected relief, the next day I had very loose stool, pretty full of mucus, almost the same texture I had post-Pancreatitis, and there's A Disease You do not want. It was in 2015 and I still remember It well. I NEVER want it again. I have always been told Kidney Stones are the MOST PAINFUL thing one can have. If Kidney Stones are a 10, pancreatitis is a 9.875, I tear up 💦 at the memory. I believe I would prefer Abdominal Surgery with Novacaine to it any day! I hope my Doctor Needleman doesn't read Bariatric Pal, if he does I'll have another non-sedation, non- anesthesia. Upper Endoscopy like they accidentally did the 26th of last October. If you, like me, have hair in the red/ginger family remind them redheads require more sedation than the average brunette patient. Not something I'm. making up, it is a definate fact , and there are studies to prove it. Lucky for them I didn't panic, most people might. I just laid there and watched everything, Much Better than You-Tube because this was not prestaged, this was the Real Thing and Totally Cool! -
I sure hope not, it is difficult to be STARVING IN A LAND OF PLENTY. Are you sure it's not an amoeba sort of thing?

And welcome over to the POST SURGERY side of town, I think you'll like it here! -
When things aren't going well, you're following your diet plan and still don't lose, you are taking your PPI faithfully yet now GERD has lifted its ugly head, you wake up in the middle of sleeping with GERD, bad indigestion or a horrid taste in your mouth and you hadn't been sick with anything else. Possibly also you're having pain in your abdomen the pills don't stop from hurting. These are things I can think of, I'm sure others will add to it.
