VSG on 4/16/18: My journey
Frustr8 replied to TexasMommy80's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
good luck Monday and all of your future days. I think you are going to be one of the success stories we love to read! -
I get them in calves and thighs, but to me the worst,is when I get them in my hands. Sometimes I can push them against a hard surface and it helps, sometimes the Mg and wait for it to take effect. Used to use several aspirin for the pain but since Hector the Ulcer has arrived I don't hardly care. Knock on wood but since I've been eating healthier and taking my Centrum Silver cause I'm still presurg I haven't had a flare up.π

I sucked it up and bought it
Frustr8 replied to redhead_che's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Yes have you ever seen a toddler squat down and easily fill their diaper? This mimics it for us grownup people. Friend said much less straining, said when she tried using her sons stepstool she couldn't get her feet far enough apart without them falling off the stool, said she'd be danged if she was gonna call Tom(her husband) or Tommy to put her fat feet back upπ -
They are usually sweetened, stick to your dentures,i wonder if they might block your stoma? That is if you're a bypasser.

Saw it on Shark Tank when the inventors, I think a mother and son, were trying to put it into production. My friend had one, loves it, won't share or buy me one. Drat I'll just have to buy my own!π¦ -

Change from Medicaid to employer plan=no surgery for me. Heartbroken.
Frustr8 replied to heatherlarae's topic in Insurance & Financing
Wish you could be scheduled for SURGERY before that ends. There has got to be a way through this, wish you could go through as a special exemption case, or that you could pick up employment insurance at the end of May instead of April and your surgeon could complete it in that time frame. We did have some people on BP that are have worked Or are working in the insurance sector. Wussy they would chime in and give you some direction.π -

Anxiety and Surgery
Frustr8 replied to mitchjoann132010's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yes mitchjoanne, but they are going to take such good care of you it's almost like being wrapped ion a caccoon of love. And like a butterfly you will spead your beautiful new wings and fly so pretty. Maybe for a few days right after you might still feel like larva but soon you WILL FLY! And I too hold this thought in mind for my own surgery when it comes. I am much less afraid of the surgical process than continuing to live in this fat sad body which could break down at any time. So far I have not had many of the other bad effects of obesity but I realize I could explode like a time bomb with them before long. So I will claim the victory of Surgery Day and continue to use this tool for my body's benefit. And my daily life will be v etter for it.π -
Before picture at my heaviest
Frustr8 replied to it'sonlythefirststep's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
My son threatened he was going to send BP one of me rumpled and half-asleep, if Alex saw me like that he might send me a campership to BariatricPalMX, I look seriously in need of something. Maybe when I have my hair combed and a tad of makeup on? He has enough on his cellphone to blackmail me if he wantedπ -
And I suppose Isabelle and Conor the 2 children he adopted with Nicole Kidman, are diconnected from her. There is something both sad and wierd, going on with that cult. Did you know women in labor are not permitted to cry out so they do not imprint fear into the baby?

Silly Anesthesia Question
Frustr8 replied to inthekeyofp's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm funny enough when I'm awake, maybe I'll shut up for once? Hey when you're having low blood sugars with hypoglycemia you can react appearing drunk? My friend Jeane. acted like the giggly silly, drunk,"He he, I bet my sugars are going crazy" I act like the sad depressed drunk, I sit in the corner all weepy, odd but when mine drops 30-40 the palms of my hands get all red and blotchy looking, and I sit staring,at them. Family knows to give me a quick jolt of Orange juice. Neuro hlycopenia makes me stagger when I try to walk. PCP thinks perhaps WLS may help my body smooth out with less weight stress. But I want surgery for my own self and self-esteem. I don't respect myself at this weight.π -
