Hey@Trixie82 and @AlFxRnY, I had my psych appointment today, yeah the one I had been dreading, was certain things were going to go against me? They didn't, Dr Kramer was WONDERFUL, if anyone in the future wants to,go to Ohio State University hospital for their Bariatric Surgery I wholeheartedly recommend him for evaluations. I passed I passed I passed! Anyhoo I have to meet my case manager, dietician and nurse practitioner on May 24th, so that puts me into June at the soonest. Most embarrassing diet/exercise product you've ever bought?
Frustr8 replied to Creekimp13's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
My late MIL was a pusher for the Grapefruit diet, she was certain the grapefuit cells got in your bloodstream, and just like Pac Man they went around chomping up cholesterol particles. Grapefruit juice is a diuretic, sure she lost some weight, she peed constantly, it was all water. Also, she believed you would never gain weight if you stood up while eating. Calories go out the soles of your feet? She stood over us all at family dinners, a 5ft2in vulture nearly dumping food,on top of an unsuspecting family member. I lived in fear of spaghetti,or beef and, noodles as a bath when I least wanted it. The Ayds I mentioned before? We lost the first box when my cousin came to visit, decided weight loss might be good for her also, chopped down the rest of the box and threw up all over the bathroom. Guess who got to clean it up? If exercise is good for weight loss I lost a couple pounds that day! I also was on an oatmeal diet, 3 big bowls a day, with saccharin, wonder I can stand the sight of it. It also got rid of everything in your bowels, over and over again. Tried the push up diet and I realized portions of me hit the ground first, sort of a dangle-skmoosh motion. -
Hi Midwest and Big 10 Bari*Pals
Frustr8 replied to Frustr8's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
IDK but I am sincere wanting to hear from all of you. I am as true blue and honest as the day is long. The first post I made today said error- permission denied, just rebooted my android marsmallow phone and things are moving along from there. I am in Central Ohio, 50 miles NE of Columbus where my RnY will take place. After more stops, starts and lurches than the average jalopy I'm back pressing forward. Was hoping for May, since I have an appointment with case manager, dietician and nurse practitioner on May 24th---,June? maybe July?. Mine is a rare story, I completed another program not once but twice then they refused to,perform my surgery. So after cursing and reviling the sons of Seabiscuit the Horse from this distance where, they couldn't hear what I called them. I picked myself up, patched up my bruised feelings that had been tromped on, and moved on to an alternate program where I should have gone in the 1st place at Ohio State University. Today I feel the sun will still shine on my endeavor, My plans have been justified and I am going forward. Power πto me, the Princess of Power and Queen of all I design- ate worthy.π -

@Kadidy- hi from Ohio and me. I am 72, so even older than you. We walk the same path, one we did not choose. My husband died July 4th 2012, my 31 year old son January 11 2008, yes not even 4 years apart. My youngest still lives with me, although,he says to everyone we have told of my,upcoming surgery that he is supportive, inside he is much like your son, not wanting anything to happen to Mom. Tomorrow I hope for a change in my status, I have a 2 hour psychological appointment with Dr Kramer at Martha Morehouse Pavilion in Columbus Ohio. A positive assessment from him will go far toward a speedy date for surgery. I have finished prerequirements for another program twice, now I am transferring to this program. All my past credits will transfer, if there are no differing requirements it could be early May, if there are more, June. I should be well on the road to recovery before my class reunion in August, yes 55 years and I was one of the youngest in my class, not even 17 and a half at graduation. Be optimistic, you will not look badly at 100 because you will be healthier, happier, fitter and, more alive than you, would with the millstone of obesity dragging you down. Kadidy you are going to rock the world and everything in it. The joys of life will be ours, but we will, always miss the people we wanted to share this victory with.Post me anytime, you, like, I'm almost always within earshot of my phone! Have a peaceful eveningπ

2 week liquid preop diet
Frustr8 replied to DesertGirl's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
@aNYCab isn't that on and off diet plan almost like yo yo-ing? The yo yo method got a lot of us Plump Princes and Princesses in a peck of trouble in the pastπππ -
Has anyone else experienced this?
Frustr8 replied to Lstoreyhodgins's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
He may be feeli,g this also.As you get closer to surgery, feeling your inner strength to go through with this commitment, he may feel you are distancing yourself from him. You don't need or even want him anymore. Men aren't raised to talk things out, they are pushed to just suck,it up and go on with life. Maybe he feels with you so centered on weight loss and surgery that you have, nothing in common anymore. And you feel,if. he doesn't have your back, doesn't want,to,emotionally support you, you feel the need to find someone or something v that will. Those are my thoughts and insights from a couple 100 miles south in Ohio.π God Bless and Watch over You Bothπ -
You're right Rick M you're right. π

I always wondered if those inversion machines and tables made your nose bleed? Also the guy on that Gazelle is Tony Little. Saw him a while back on either QVC or HSN selling something so he's still vibrantly alive!π -
Back when I worked for WallyWorld we had Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Arkansas because their home office is in Bentonville. So I can understand how you can live in Tennessee and have Minnesota insurance,π

I guess it is profiling, but I'm not sure that they are as bright as we were. Did something get bred out?πͺ
