A general surgeon in my town just rstarted extending her practice to Bariatrics, one half is banding, the other half is sleeves, she doesn't offer RnY bypass, which is what I need. I have bad GERD, on a strong PPI ( proton pump inhibitor) which is calming it and my baby ulcer down, but I also need the faster weight loss and I have a first cousin that died at 68, 4 years younger than I am now, of esophageal cancer. They thought they could help her at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland Ohio but she died on the table. Gosh, we were pals as well as cousins, been 2 years and I miss June-Ellen still.😪😭

And I believe you will be happy with what you see. You have done two very important NSV (non scale victories) and they are I've trouble with myself. For me the better balancing of my food plate wasn't too difficult, my strange acting stomach rather hold me back I'm eating smaller portions , I feel overfilled with 1/2 to 2/3 the sized portions I used to eat, I wanted to eat enough I wouldn't be hungry until,the next meal, now strangely I'm eating less but I don't have the knawing hunger I used to have. Illogical but I'll accept it. My bigger failing of the 2, I would(in the former days) eat extremely mindlessly in front of the TV, suddenly a whole box of Cheezits, I preferred the white cheddar ones, or an entire bag of Lays potato chips was gone. Did I share either one with someone else? Nope they had gone down the pink tnnel to my gut.. Did I feel overfilled or at least full? Nope. Now I eat slowly enough that I can taste each bite, and I'm trying to chew instead of bolting things right down. When I look back,I ate like I had a dozen brothers and sisters trying to take my food away if I didn't swallow faster. Shoot, I'm an only child and I acted that way. No too proud to admit it. Another bad habit, in an argument I would heap extra blame on myself, thought that way the other person would like me more, would still want to be my friend. Strange but it never worked, people didn't respect,me a whit more. Ah, Darlin' I'm still learning me Life Lessons. Rationlized it "Hey I'm gonna be a great person when this is done" well I was great all along, I just couldn't see it. So have a fine day and I'll try to do the same. A new thought I'm holding on to Every new day is a gift, that's why it's called the present. Smiles😜

Liked the licked a pepperoni slice, I tried to chew a natural chicken nugget that was left over from family dinner without my dentures, Finally tossed it after I chomped it awhile, the taste was pretty nice. My dentures were soaking in Polident overnight and I didn't want to wash them off. Pathetic, aren't I?

Different prioritie, different plans, devoted to charge high, pay out low or not all. That mi amiga, is the current American Insurance system, anybody else wish for universal insurance and healthcare? Packing my duffle bag of goodies, lining up protein shakes on my pantry shelf, yes the very-same shelf where the cookie packages, chips,pretzels and chips(crisps to my Commonwealth cousins() and bottl3s of soda used to set. There is one dusty package of Cheezits at,one end, still unopened. Attention Bariatric Team Managers aka Surgeons, please call,or text me, my info is on that 15 foot sign in my front yard with the floodlight shining on it. I got a rebate from American Electric Power for the extra power,reminded them with lower grocery bills I can pay them more promptly.😆And somebody said I don't plan ahead?

Stevia Sweetens me up where the rest made me headachy, crabby, cranky and no fun to be around. With Stevia my natural sweet disposition resurfaces. FYI I have even cut back,in that, I am enjoying the natural sweetness of my foods, better do it quick because the structurlized starvation of the dreaded liquid diet is-a-coming. Just don't know yet when it kicks into gear😞

Zoftig Girl you will like,a lot,of friends with an Oreo diet, I can't eat chocolate ones but,I used to like the ,lemon ones. If they could put them n in a bottle I might be right over. Shoot I'll even come if you have Premier Protein,on ice. I prefer peaches & cream if you're taking orders.
