My Hospital Bag..??
Frustr8 replied to BulletWithButterflyWings's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Keep Upbeat, my friend, don't let Stomach know what's coming! It's going to be a whole lot thinner before you get thinner in the rest of your body. But you know IT'S ALL GOOD, it really is! Next zmonday you pay your dues, gain a life enrollment in the Bananarama Club, a sacrifice for the Greater Good. And I will be very proud of you, come what may! YOU ARE AND WILL ALWAYS BE-- A STRONG COMMITTED WOMAN and I am proud to know you, even from this far away!😝👍 -
STAY STRONG my Little Sister, we will beat this yet! Frustr8

New member introduction
Frustr8 replied to cris20495's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Well welcome Cris and Dee! As much as I babble on here, I too am a loner, shy in real life, like the late Richard Burton the actor I kind of hide it pretty well. But I was an only child, learned early to read and amuse myself, because in early elementary life there was no one to play with. As I grew more, I did learn to play sports, was a Girl Scout, 4Her but still preferred my own company. And now, I have summoned up enough bravery to be on BP, and all my nay-sayers that trampled my emotions, they're all dead so no one left to ridicule me. And now Frustr8 can stand up and be counted, but inside I truly am restrained and shy! Now you know one of my hidden secrets.😜 -
And if you want even more encouragement, at just under 10 months I am 31.1 and I NEVER EXPECTED TO BE ABLE TO SAY THAT! This means after starting at 52 BMI the first time I went to OSU, I have gone from Morbid Obesity, through Straight Obesity and am ready to soon topple over into Overweight and I did it all in my 70s,now 73, my body looked a deflated wreck in places, too too many years a BIG GIRL,but at my age. few men except doctors request me naked, so I'll continue to cover with clothing. Spent this weekend running elastic through my 20/22 jeans and slacks to get a little more wear there. A little scared to try on 18s for fear they will miss-fit somewhere, but I shall, fear should no longer be in my Clothing life, should it?

And you didn't vomit up everything? Precious Pouch would have punished me long before I got to a PAIN POINT!

And our group seems large but I 💕you all for relating your struggles too! I'm thinking of a plaque that says: I MAY BE WARM NEVER AGAIN WITHOUT SWEATERS, LAYERED CLOTHING AND SOFT BLANKETS!

PERFECT! That should be all he/she should have to know! -
Let us know what your doctor says, okay? Heavy periods are a bummer, I used to sneeze and spot through my clothes, yeah, TMI, but the gospel truth. Don't know how I could made it through surgery, the hormones being released from my fat and still be cycling. I would have probably, knowing me the best, drug myself to the Gynae and begged to be spayed. Would he have done it? Not my current of record, but mine from Columbus, yep , he wanted to after Tomkitten's birth 40 years ago. Probably why I never darkened his door, had a few more appointments with varied , never discussed it, now my own here, he has no desire to. Told me the only way he would was if my uterus "fell" and my cervix was protruding out of my body. And he also doesn't have correct Feng Sei, so even the forces of nature are not making him brighter. So he is living his own life, and I will be ding dang donged if I EVER. walk through his. office door again!

Realizing just how fat I was...and still am
Frustr8 replied to MikeIL's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
And much. 💕to you Francess, what we have chosen is not especially easy but the health rewards are fabulous. I am about 25 pounds from my personal goal but already at the point Surgeon and his head Nurse-Practioner Valerie had judged enough. Well I am a tad peeved, they have not scheduled me another appointment until August 14th, I feel either they have turned their back on me or I am no longer of interest to them! -
Possible pregnancy and only(almost)three months out
Frustr8 replied to PudgeBeGone's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
I would still check in with the Gynae, better make certain that you were an alarmist than have something or some reason for it.😓😷😁 -
Truth be known, very few of us do sleep much the night before. Not so much fear or Apprehension but the final realisation that nothing with your body will ever be the same!😛👈😜👉

Much like Welfare not being fair and you don't well with it, Slimfast neither works fast nor really makes you that Slim. Like you younger ones say: WORD!

Also leave a copy of passwords with someone you can trust. My older son , the one who now is a angel, was our family computer guru, had a horrid time accessing things because He Took Them with HIM.

Well this is Wonderful News to hear and may everything move well for you from now on!

Ah Fluffy Says Fork It, even the Bible says "This too shall pass" maybe in an unrecognizable form but what comes in after surgery ultimately leaves!

Anyone finally get their surgery date, panic and postpone the surgery?
Frustr8 replied to KarenLR75's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Somewhat akin to me going into Wally World or another department store and not taking the largest size on display. I am having some fun going from 20 to 18, BIG BIG SELECTION- and another good point- I originally had targeted size 15 Junior, at 18 it truly is Just Over The Horizon! And Sniff Sniff💦 I NEVER THOUGHT I COULD GET CLOSE, really was something I told PCP and surgeon to take them off my Trail! Now it could and probably Will Happen! -

Frustr8 replied to BulletWithButterflyWings's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I used to think I had no abdominal muscles left, then Surgery, Surprise They were still there and somewhat peeved at what i,put them through! Yeah the set-up analogy is good but I felt like I had been attached to an industrial robot and He Flexxed me past normal human endurance especially when attempting getting up and lying down. Yee-ouch!!!
