Hello Again, Long Time No See...

Congratulations on your new pouch-'hood, ShellsAlmostThere. I'm glad to meet several of Proudgrammy's friends from before. Nurseygirl, I did pass my re-eval with Dr Kramer, now I have a meeting with Nurse Practioner, Dietician, and case manager on May 24th so my case is moving forward, maybe surgery in June? I have had 2 knee replacements myself, need shoulder surgery but want my RnY done 1st, then maybe shoulder by September? Well we will see what the summer will bring. May have to move soon, landlord making threatening noises,☝ if he stays in current mood I'll have to be out of here🏡 by July 15, don't want that, don't want to move📫 either but he doesn't want to do🔨🔧🔩🔌🚽 repairs, he wants to sell to me but I don't know if I can run into that much 🔎financing, I'm on fixed income and between rock and hard place, and he dang well knows it. Perhaps I'll gain clarity if I reason all this out. 😕

    Can I do it?

If your kiddos have such problems also reach out 📞your local Mental Health Association ---they may also have a support group that can help. Yes it does take a village sometimes but also help should start at home, have a family meeting. You'll I believe find proper resources. Now a big hug, honey, it's going be all right.☝😝

  8. What a small world my mother's maiden was Hubbell, our ancestors came from Ribsford Parish in Worchester, if you have any ties to there we are indeed distant cousins, the branch who at the time of the American Revolution and became United Empire Loyalists(known in the US as Tories) and moved to Ontario Canada, spell theirs Hubble and are the family the Hubble Telescope are named after, Curious, when doing further research we found out my father's ancestors came from Lancaster so both branches came from within 60 miles of each other. My paternal greatgrandmother, Mary Scott, came from Edinburgh, and from her came probably the Celtic red-gold hair if not the Malones in Northern Ireland , on my maternal side. In my youth I stood just under 6 feet tall, taller than either parent, now my bariatric surgeon says I'm 5ft8in so my spine must shortened down or my weight drug me down. I currently am at 320 or so, down from 355, a nice weight if I were hurling a caber at the Highland Games but more than a mite too heavy for day to day life. Still I have lasted for 72 years and with surgerys help I pray to last a little longer on this earth. I will talk on most any subject, if you have any more questions about bariatric surgery I'll do my best to help. I have trying to receive it since August 2015, quite a story there, but have had plenty time to do research. May not know it all😝 but I do know a fair amount! And in the meantime⏰ I am chief cook,🍳 bottlewasher 🍼and cheerleader📣 for everyone else. If you want to chat I'm always in reach of my smartphone📞And I too will be having RnY bypass--- within a month or 6 weeks in Columbus Ohio. Until later!

    Getting scared

Harleymama11 maybe I also can help with your fears, climb on my virtual lap anytime you want. I am 72, anticipating my own RnY surgery within the next month or so. In the last few years I have had both a son and my husband die, so death does not frighten me. You'll have to consider how much healthier you'll be without obesity. Obesity over the years wore out my joints, made me short of breath, slowed my moments, tried stomping my spirit into the ground, now I'm trying regain control back,of my . life And I find I want to spend my remaining years not looking, like Bip the Michelin Tire Man's twin sister. I have had enough sadness already so,i figure the next part will be the best part of life. And I want to hang around and see it. Why don't you join me in this bumpy thumpy journey?😝😗😜

    Got my date!

Elephants are nice, tell me, do you still bleed maize and blue? I would like to be as slender as Brutus Buckeye, or at least that athletic. Unfortuately I'm nearly as round as a buckeye or a basketball, I have lost a little weight but it's like a dimple on a cantalope, not very noticable. That's another reason I need, this WLS tool very badly. And I'm getting older day by day, so I don't. have a cushion of time.
  16. Yeah @Chrisb428 I've tasted your Roaring Springs water, pleasant as bottled water usually isn't. I usually buy Aquafina because,it is easily accessible,in my area.😛
