Frustr8 replied to PrettyGirlLJ's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am in Central Ohio and will be having my surgery at OSU-Wexner Medical Center in Columbus Ohio. My surgeon😷 is Bradley Needleman MD, I ended up with the big gun- he is the chief of Bariatrics there. -

Frustr8 replied to jamilsbride's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
Thank you Angie, I was hoping you were monitoring tonight. I'm sorry I mangled your middle name, my fingers lag behind my mind. Congratulations on your surgery and I hope you heal very well.😝 -

Welcome to both of you., PrettyGirlLJ and Lora67. You will find a lot of new friends here. We all have gone through or are going through the Weight Loss Process. Are you planning a bypass, sleeve,or lap band? Most of us are sleeve or bypassn but there are still, pisters with all the different, kinds. And there, are a,lit more varieties than you would think. I'm the US, UK and Canada these are the, more popular but overseas they do these and a few more styles. Feel free to ask any questions you may have, if,i don't have an answer someone else in the World wide Bariatric Pal community will. Stick, around, we grow on you! -

Update @ jamils bride. Angie Jonson Hinton @ Hinton 38607 on here just had a sleeve surgery which Dr Illian performed. Within the, last week or so, I think. Her regular email address if you want it also is: hinton38606@att.net Good luck now and in the future! -
Okay, are you going to check again Monday morning anyway?
-
I must confess, the more I lurk and read, the more I wonder,if I can do this. Aw shoot, in for a dime, in for a dollar, if all these people can do it, why couldn't I?🙊🙉🙈

Eggdrop Soup, better than broth.

Where can you find Better than Bouillon, is it universally available? I am not familiar, with the brand. -

Don't you just hate doctors and their staff at times? If we didn't say anything it means you are fine. It always mean one or both of the phones aren't working or they have a call into a specialist because it wasn't Good and, they are waitingnuntil, they get a booking before they call you back.

If this is truly the EASY WAY like the average person seems to think wouldn't you hate to see HARD!!!

I am sure Bill Yanez or Stacey will see your post soon if Dr Illian doesn't himself. Just sit tight, the answer should come soon! -
Any June 2018 Sleevers in Here?!
Frustr8 replied to BurpeeZombie's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
YOUCH! Yes I think you had ask somebody else about this, that isn't a small stream--- that's the Grand Canyon! -
From what I have heard this may be easier. I have always been told kidney surgery is much worse on the donor as opposed to the person receiving.. I am sure for your sister you will always be her perfect angel.💕👼

Let's hear some normal poop stories
Frustr8 replied to modymatey's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
Something I find odd, I had always heard we bypasses as well as our MGB and SIPS brethren tended towards diarrhea and flatulence whereas our sleeved cousins were the ones with constipation, yet I'm seeing a lot of over-firm here. Are the P.R. people wrong? -

I did,not say darkness I said a deepness of thought and concern, oh how I wish I still could edit my pistings, the original alpha system on the Bariatric Pall Android app I could for up to 2 hours, with,5he beta it is gone forever. This is why you will often see subsequent postings from me. And even when my post is short enough,to can see it all, this demented phone still screws things up. This time it even deleted part of a phrase. Sorry. -

You know there. is something, about your postings that makes me feel you may become a treasured friend. There is somehow a darkness and concern. Thank you for that. Hearing of William does make you sad for a young life cut short so soon. I had a great grand uncle whose name was Jehu Harper, I always thought the name was pretty. People these days, say it should be pronounced,Yay-Hoo,my family always said Jay- Hugh. Anyway he also died at your Williams age, he tipped his mother's wash boiler over on himself and was scalded. These days they could have rushed him to a burn center and,he would live But I'm sure he was in agony before he died. You're right the good old days were not always that good. Perhaps from Diantha you inherited your strong, spirit that brought you through all the calamities of your own life and helped you to stand strong now., Have a good rest of today and a beautiful tomorrow. -

Thanks ALFxRnY that perks me up also. Having,a small flare of the Concrete Poop Wars and a nasty, little voice in the back,of my mind, "you, know if you'd go back,to eating nice big portions of food, you wouldn't have this, problem. You,never used to! " Got to keep stuffing Fluffy Frustr8 voice down where she can't say anything, but she is right. But I want to do the right, thing, I can't surrender when,i am this close to my war being, over. We would be still fighting World War II if someone had rolled the Enola, Gay back, into, the hanger and they had never, bombed Japan. Shoot I could be speaking Japanese,or German, if things don't settle better I might start having to speak Arabic, always thought if it was going to be a Middle Eastern language it would be Hebrew instead. Thanks for being there to tell me to keep the faith! -

Thanks Missouri-Lee's Summit, those are all good alternatives. Made me remember a family, tale. Apparently my Aunt Grace, my grandparents oldest had such a problem in baby hood, Grandma gave her syrup,of figs. Aunt Grace, who was my favoritevrelative on that side, was born,in 1905 and lived well into her 80s. If it wasn't for the sugar, and I am trying to reform my carbohydrate sins, I'd go buy some Fig Newtons, I like how.they taste, alas there are so many carb-laden things that taste good on the surface.😪 -

BARI-brothers and sisters I come to you with a problem. I have lymphadema of the lower legs, yes I know weight, loss can and will help with this. Not exactly why I am coming to you in supplication. My somewhat beloved "Job's Comforters" Tomkitten my son and my PCP aka Sppeedy Gonzalez because he rushes in and out of treatment rooms so,fast, you barely can get a question in. They both think it would be advantageous to take Lasix to reduce the swelling. I feel this is cruel and unusual punishment since I have 3 kidneys and spend so,much,of my life tinkling. Ah, they say, perhaps this is not high quality mictuation ,do MORE. Okay I was trying to be a low drama mama. My kidneys are in overdrive, now we come to the crux of my problem. Flu8d has to come from somewhere? Along, with depuffying my ankles it is dehydrating and making difficult my federations. I am not taking in the big bulky amounts of foods I once did, and my bowl of oatmeal in the AM just ain't hacking it. I broke in today to my carefully hoarded stash of Miralax to see if that would help. See I only get paid once a month with Social Security , and although,i only have a prescription for Miralax with a copay of $,28 it might have expired. and I can't afford the $16 over the counter and although I want a Squatty Potty I thought it could wait until after my surgery. After you finish th ROFLAO get up and give,me some sympathy. Thank You💩& Frustr8.
