What % of you people don't need to shrink your LIVER by a liquid or nearly liquid pre-diet? Am I engaged in something that should have been buried with the dinosaurs? -
And I booked in for 4+ weeks diet, wanted the most "Bang For My Buck". up to Day #6 I thought I was doing really good, then yesterday I got to feeling so weak , I had been trying to space my 4 high protein shakes , a sald with 2 T low-fat dressing lunch, one of my snacks a small fruit, usually a π, although I could have an orange, an Apple. or 3/4 cup unsweetened berriesm Wonder if 1/2 to 3/4 cup unsweetened applesauce would substitute ? With dentures my π-chomping days are behind me. Plus never forget my copious amount of fluid, I single-handedly am keeping rivers in flood stage. I had been trying to keep something down the rosy pink highway ever 2 hours, but was attempting to stretch out to every 3 so I still could have a little life in my life. No diabetes in my personal history, so why so weak and Stacey? I'm taking in 850 to 1150 although it was supposed to be 1000xalorie, 100gr protein/70gr carb, did I DO SONETHING WRONG? Don't want to pass out, 300 pounds makes a BIG KA-THUMP! HELP VEYERAN PEEPS , HELP!

Boy am I Glad my surgery doesn't make you eat only, the things they can make a profit on, although the other day I did see someone complaining about the nasty vil!tasting slopbher doctor was trying to push and wondering if there was any recourse. You expect your doctor's to be inde0endant critters not in some retail groups back-pocket. Of course I have my mini-sorrow also. The night before my surgery I have a 12 bottle of weird clear liquid to drink, than I drink another one traveling to Columbus so it's at least 2 hours before surgery. Made by Abbott Labratories, guess where their home office is? Yeppers, Columbus! Even a big facility like the Ohio State University is not immune to a little kick- back blandishment!

Yeah if anyone asks or notices your small amount of food, just deflect them. Say I'd. rather talk to You than eat right now. I'll get more later, you don't have to volunteer that later may be in a day or two. Most of my kinfolk would rather talk than eat, must be why I outweigh them. If they say " why aren't you eating my blubber cassarole, take a token amount, you can ditch it,later. Move things around. on your plate, how do they know that is still your 1st plate, you might have gone back for seconds because It was so good! Deflect their attention. If you have a family member everyone knows is great cooker, say " oh I have to save room for Aunt Myra's blueberry pie!" then put a tiny bit on the your plate so they. have seen that color.. Wing it, I'm sure you'll dodge and weave with the best,of them!

Are you getting as healthy as the Sculptor's bank account? Things that sound too good or too easy,to be true usually are.

I was adding up my MFP diary, I guess I am supposed to be on a 1000 diet for Liver Shrinkage, I've got several 1050, 1100 along with 875 to 900, am I going to be beaten with a soggy piece of lettuce for my sins? I'm doing the dietary, Purgatory for 4+ weeks, maybe it will balance out?

Could Someone 'Splain This To Me?
Frustr8 replied to FluffyChix's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
lovely, little stinker, isn't it? JP is a Jackson-Pratt drain, named for the Medical dudes who developed/refined this little rubber fellow. Used primarily in gynecology , Bariatrics, and abdominal surgeries, although I guess a surgeon could use it other areas where he/she expects a surgical wound that produces more fluid than the body can easily reabsorb. When it is removed, it should not hurt, maybe a tugging sensation, maybe you don't feel much at all. Now I haven't had my bariatric so don't know if Dr Needleman routinely uses them in his surgeries The once I had one before, I did feel something. Now no ROFLMAO but I felt. swooshy sensation, like you punched your finger into bread dough and then pulled it out. Still have a teensy tiny bit wider area in my incision scar, yours will not even do that. I had mine,in for than a day or two. If you have one placed then your Doctor is looking out for you. π·ππ· -
Bye Bye @ Game Plan18. November's loss,will be August's gain. I'll,still be watching to see,how,things play outπͺπ·
