In a little over a week our positions will be changing, I then will be gowned and waiting for surgery and you will be on the outside looking in , cheering me on, telling me every little th8ng will be OK and it will be, because Surgery,Now is not the Big Bear Bugaboo it once was! Not like falling off a log because WHO wants to fall off a log anyway but pretty smooth and easy-like.Surgeon's do them everyday, if they were clumsy and uncoordinated, they were never have a line patients wanting them.

Which surgery should I choose?
Frustr8 replied to Separ1418's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
You stated that correctly Missouri- Lee Summit, put it writing if necessary ahead of time. Many on Team Sleeve, a little less,on Team Bypass with,it's 2-3 varieties, some Team ESG and very few now Team Lapband, make your choice, stand by your convictions and don't think,of "waffeling" as you go through the Oprating Room Door. As the song lyrics go " it's a little too late to do the right thing now!"😷✋😷 -

Perhaps we should be grateful they didnt, bury,it in Rants and Raves, that would be a sag commentary on the World Today. And I am proud to be on Team Jesus, have been since childhoid, will be until I draw my last breath. And no Devil or Demon need to give me anything. -

Another weird fact, one of my doctors claims I am carryi,g around a NFL qarterback, get rid of him! We already have enough deadbeat quaterbacks who can't throw,a 5 yard pass on Sunday afternoon. Shoot I'm a 72 year old woman and I got a better arm than that! I was an athletic powerhouse in my day, now I'm a broken-down warehouse. But I am getting remodeled, renovated and realigned . I will make Great American Landmarks and Monuments. Show be on the cover sometime in 2019 or 2020!

Well, that step in the diet plan, full liquids is known as Step 2. My program has a saying: If you have to chew **** it is never Step 2**** Also, don't be in a rush,to upgrade too soon, it is not like the world is going to get rid of all the more solid food beforyou can get there! There will always be healthy solid food waiting for you around the corner. Ease down, Louise, remember rushing toward food to capture it got you in this mess begfore! -

I got my date on July 17 at the conclusion,of my appointment with Dr Needleman at OSU Bariatric Clinic. Suzy the scheduling Secretary plan to arrive by 5 AM for a 7 AM surgery on September 5 2018. Said wanted me to be first that day, that way if my surgery became, more complicated he could devote total attention to me. Hey, I feel honored, first time I have been first for anything. When you get repeatedly a fuzzy lollipop while the rest,of the world. gets cotton candy, you resign yourself to 2nd rate treatment, and I never stuck up for myself. How could I when I was my parents daughter, my husband's wife, my children's mother, I had no independent life, just an extension of someone else. Sad isn't it, I was never me, raised that way, lived that way. When my husband died, and I had to become me, it was scary. See, I had been browbeaten that no one could like me for myself. Been a rough 6 years establishing ME, but guess what -people do like me, I can finally seek the surgery I have wanted , that my parents and husband wouldn't permit me to have. And now I am doing it, and now I can be first in line on my surgery because my future health and ME matter, and for a few minutes I am the Empress, the person extraordinate the world waits for. AND it is Heady and thrilling!

Frustr8 replied to Frustr8's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Lucky you Christabelle, mine is only a thousand, 4 shakes I fruit snack , dinner 300 calorie,or less frozen entree less than 30 carbs, or in exchange, 6oz lean meat, nobeef and 1 c non starchy vegetable, no potatoes, corn or peas. I could also have small veggie salad with 2 T diet dressing. And 64+ oz water or no cal no caff drinks -
Yes you do I don't have an appendix, my surgeon took mine out when I had my gall bladder out with an open incision. Extra added bonus cause I would be cut open and,my,guts exposed. That's how I got that weird right paramedian scar that freaks surgeons out. Never had appendicitis and FYI,THERE WERE NO SEEDS, NUT PIECES OR DEBRIS THERE! So if people say don't eat that, don't swallow watermelon seed, shrimp, tails etc they don't end,up there.
