Next stop- outside the Body!" It hurts to argue with her, my whole chest hurts afterward.So we are slogging along on Stage 2- liquids, very smooth thin pureed. My baiatric dieticians have a motto: If you have to chew, it is not Stage 2! So P.P. gets strained cream soups, broths including bone, protein shakes, sf Jello, sf popsicles, she likes the tropical ones, flavored and plain waters, and if she is in a mellow mood, Musslemqns unsweetened applesauce. And my multiviamins, melting B12, got a nice Black Cherry one from Bariatric Pal store, my Calcium Citrate and Magnesium ( to lessen leg cramps). And I travail daily to give,her Q.S. fluids, minimum 64 oz. We have a temporary truce, by me seeing things HER WAY I get to take walks and gentlely preform my ADL. For those not in healthcare, Activities of Daily Living, as long as one can perform these no doctor threatens to put your Happy Hoohah in a lond term care facility. Hey, I am 72, at that age non-geriatric friendly medical people start threatening. And I am a 2-pronged person , geriatric and bariatric , hard to find a file drawer that fits me! But I don't have enough sense to lie down and die. You see I am a bumblbee🐝. A little side story for you all. The bumblebee is aerodynamically impossible, his wings are too short for his body, he by every specification, should not be able to fly. But no one ever explained this to him, so he just keeps flying. And that is also me. The difference is I have been told: Too old- Too undeserving- Too broke down- not enough commitment- set up for failure- even had one nay-sayer tell me I was emotionally unsound and too stupid! Baby I have been Mensa-caliber since baby- Frustr8hood, I just don't always parade it! So I say Nah Nah to all those peoples and keep on keeping on to the ultimate finish. A marathon instead of a sprint, fine with me, I tripped more running than I ever did at a slow steady pace. And if I have some smiles😛 from others on their own journeys, that's fine and dandy. Never get back my youth but I CAN ROCK MY MATURITY TO THE INTH DEGREE! And I'll take that over death any day. Yep you sure did! Sore innards with their staples. just cannot handle ther bumpy roughness yet. Slow, smoothly, teeny tiny amounts at a time. Treat that renovated stomach like the,baby,it is. Cream soups, sugar popsicles, bone broths, and protein shakes, that's my diet,staples . Don't rush the stages, it can get boring but it is better in the lo b g run. Get your vitamins, m8nerals like calcium, drink in all the fluid you can take. 64 oz doesn't seem bad but it may take all day. You will not set Land Speed records, but each day a little more recovery, a little strength, follow your doctor's instructions, we're happy to help but Dr,knows your condition best. Do your best to make October a Success Month! My September has had its bumps but I never would go back to before, 25 days, down maybe 20pounds+ less in weigh5 and I see subtle differences, p retty soon the world🌏will see👀Them Too!

Most assuredly it will but for the better.I just had RnY surgery September 5th at the age of 72. And I am very happy about that. Worked 3 years to get there, almost faltered but never quit, and now,i am learning to live again!😛Come join me, even time they measured me I got shorter, down from 5ft11in to 5ft8.5in so my BMI was close to 50, and now it is coming down , lost 55 going on 60 pounds from my highest, about 20 in3.5 weeks.🚩 And I haven't hit my best losing stride yet.😛

We decided to go to Olive green one,bright sunny day, my older son in seat on back of my bike, my younger son, who grew up to become Tomkitten in a baby seat on the back of my daughter's. I wanted to take them there because the Olive Green store had a hand-crank cash register, and in an age of Krogers and Wal'Mart they had never seen such a thing! Really was a fun thing to do. Now R.D. is nearly 50, only speaks to me in months with R, her loss. RD stands for Rotten Daughter, and she has earned it, my older son has been an angel😇 for 10 years last January,this is something you never heal from,still miss him, Tomkitten and I always will!😇 Disney and Florida's gain is our loss! At least you get quasi-food. Let Mr tell you what I got at OSU. Remainder of 1st day, water, got bottled because Columbus fluoridation cracks my lips , I was in chap-stick more often than not when I was there. 2nd day fruity drinks late 2nd day started adding milky drinks , similar to protein shakes, 3rd day prepared me for exit, still milky drinks, when time to go gave my favorite flavor to travel with. Had,IV in, electrodes on chest, assuming for continual monitoring . Only let,me out of room once, only saw bathroom before surgery so could not testify if I had a shower or not. Had a bedside commode, nice one but why was I on house arrest? I would think there were other Bari-tients there. Can't imagine Dr Needleman coming to work just to Do ME ---adorable as I am!😛I think for 72 ---I'm not THAT shabby! But no broth, Jello, pudding, popsicles. Maybe I helped their budget stay low? Lucky,i had Tomkitten, my son with me, otherwise I would have been lonely!😭😪😥

Then I pour it out into my baby 2 oz cups. Impromptu Poem Ounces 2-That's the thing to Do! Not good enough to win me Poet Laurete of the United States🇺🇸 but I do work cheap---even FREE!
