Probably so, they fill you up with so much fluid it's a v wonder you don't slosh when you walk. Walk around your house if it's miserable to go outside, could also be trapped gas that makes you look preggo plump.
-
And congratulations from me also, may your surgery grant you all you desire!

Walking into a store, not digging to the rear of the rack or looking to see where the Plus sizes are hidden. Buying something because I like the style or color, not just because all they have that WILL FIT. And not having to stand to one side so people can get through. Wearing shorter skierts and even shorts in public and having people not suck in their breath as I walk or saunter by, the Dr are some of my Dream NSVs.
-
And now that January 2019 is about to end, have YOU had an NSV yourself?

Has anyone had surgery in Istanbul, Turkey?
Frustr8 replied to Melaninbarbie's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Yeah ,I wondered too! Hope the Poster is doing okay now. -
I asked the doctor who did my endoscopy if I should get one, he said it wasn't necessary but I'm gonna ask Dr Needleman on February 12th and see what He Says- I still think it's a good 💡 idea!

Frustr8 replied to The 56 Bypass's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
Also available at Bariatric Pal Store and you're not enriching the. corporate spider of Amazon. I bought some along with many other items from B.P.S. and they do very fast shipping, no time at all from N.Y. to Ohio. -
Oh it will, but we all want what we. want and we want t9 see results Right Now. Its just Bariatric Human Nature to feel like that.
-
Found another Good one Attract what you expect- Reflect what you desire- Become what you respect- Reflect what you admire.

Ensure High Protein has a pleasanter flavor than most. I just purchased some earlier in the week. Many people like Premier Protein or Muscle Milk. Some of the others I wouldn't give 2 cents for. Several Pals also like Unjury or there are some nice ones at the Bariatric Pal store, if you feel like ordering some. Good retail stores are GNC, Sam's Club, Costco, Target and Wal-Mart.

And put on cott9n gloves at night, no real use gouging yourself in your sleep.

Hydrocortisone, oatmeal in your bathwater, no don't dump it in, make a big bag/sachet, whatever the righ term is out of 2 washcloths with oatmeal inside, take a cool bath or 🚿. It probably is a mild? reaction the anesthesia you had for your surgery, more common than you would think.

Anthem Healthkeepers Blue Cross Blue Shield experiences?
Frustr8 replied to Reducingraven's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Does in my state of Ohio, the companies offering it and think there are 4-6 different are more stringent than Medicare, all mine required was BMI above 39, didn't even need the 3 co-morbs I had. I think there are AnthemBcBs, CareSource, Buckeye, United Healthcare, Molina and another I cannot recall as well as Traditional Medicaid. But no complaints from Medicare, except my PICC line, took some wrangling there, they first were suggesting a tube through my stomach wall for feeding , that doesn't work for an RnY, only a day or so delay and then they agreed to what I have. But no problems with the Bariatric original SURGERY, and I feared that there might be, I knew it was going to be in my best interest to not exist That Obese!!! -
Believe you will land on your feet and make this a success. And we will want to hear updates as you start losing down your weight.
-
And I'll add my Well Wishes also, it's going be a great gift from You to You, doing this!

Now for a definite answer, my guess would be Goodbye Gall Bladder, but since I have never been a Lottery Winner, my feeling may not be worth much!.

Well Good for you, you have made a very good start, haven't you? Life is only going to get better, and Spring is coming, I say this with an outside temperature of -4 degrees in Central Ohio, usually this is the warmest part of the day, said the "Feels like" temperature is -35, not leaving the house to test it out! -
Are you contemplating further surgeries when your balloon is removed or do you feel this will be enough?

And hope he isn't like ME, the only I know of who actually gained 30 pounds while on it. I kept an accurate diet recond, mystified me and my PCP both. That's when I reached my HW of 365, Hurray I am 100 pounds lighter now, but have 85 to make my Dream Goal, maybe I am selling,my-self short but truly any point in onderland ,even if 195 would THRILL ME!

Don't have to worry about excess foods of any kind, rotten ex-landlord kept all of mine when I moved and he locked me out. Had to rebuild a pantry, all I moved were my protein shakes, a gallon jug of 1%milk, a dozen eggs and propel and Nestle Splash in a Styrofoam cooler. GOD better keep him in his home county over. 140 miles away, because I will kick him in the shins at the first opportunity. Claims to be a lay minister, but I don't believe he's one of my GOD's, I am a widow, bet he would wrench the last mite out of my fingers. He thought he could easily sell that house, Ha Ha, he's having to do all remodeling it needed now, couldn't sell it for $45,000 in the shape it was, refused to do repairs when I lived there, just one of the many reasons I left after 18 years. Kept my food, the majority of my clothes, my shoes, my winter coats and all the furniture I couldn't move in one load. All he returned were 3 big bulky Bibles that I really didn't want that MUCH. Had planned to donate them to Goodwill or Salvation Army, they were going to be in the second load I was going to move. Must have been watching from a neighbor's house, soon as I left with the truck he changed the locks, called my local police department, they refused to get, involved, I'm told now the County Sherrif would have helped, how'd I know that? This never happened in my entire life to Me! Rant over, hostile thoughts NOT.

I actually had a male nurse growl me out because my veins were " small", told him "Maybe,it's a good thing I'm having a weight loss so my body will match them soon!" Jeezy Peasy, screen at me for somethi,g I CAN control not the veins GOD gave ME! Didn't much like him anyway, always acted like I was an imposition to take care off, only sour note in any of my Medical contacts at OSU, everybody else kind, considerate and want me to succeed in my Weight Endeavors. So Hairy Larry can go jump in the lake, far as I'm concerned!👨

Well subluxation is a possibility , I know your center of balance changes, without the abdominal fat pad to pull things forward, the plump rump to sit on, the spine could whine a bit. Probably a very good idea one of my ortho s is a D.O. I like him a lot also. You know when I was younger MDs constantly put DOs down, called them close to quacks, well in my medical stable I have 4 DOs and have found them to be exceptionally patient-centered people my Ortho(male) and my otolaryngolist(female) are married and are now blessed with a couple of the cutest kids you could see. I take a little credit for them, I kept telling Dr Jarrod and Dr Suzie they would make wonderful parents, and then after 3 years a daughter and son came along. Suspect they were working behind the scenes on it anyway.

And I am coming in bravely, I am at 267 on January 30th, I will set a goal of 260 by February 28th, my weight loss has slowed down with TPN, only 3 pounds between mid December- mid January, so I I am making it a smaller increment, to get healthier i've had stay a Plump Princess, notice not an Obese Ogre, I am still making strides, it is what it is but it will be soon what I will it to be! So the chug- along Jalopy 🚗is still in the Race!
-
I originally was planning a goal of 250 by the end of January, that was before TPN entered my life, only have lost 3 pounds in a month. So I guess I shall amend my goal, think I will go to February and do a goal of 260, I'm at 267 so if I step up my exercising , even if it's DvDs and TV I might make it by February 28th. Can't cut back on foods, only getting 1 token meal a day but I still want to be with you all. So see you in February ones, okay?

Imma Post Here Anyways - Mini Success
Frustr8 replied to mousecat88's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
Patience is a virtue, but at 73 the rest of my vitue is long gone, living on grit, determination, 12 hours of TPN a night and hoping my story will end as well as my Bari-Bud 🐭🐱(aka MouseCat), so so proud of Her success! Oh got to believe it's only a Matter of Time, never planned to be like this 5 months out from surgery. And oh it started out So Good , 2 weeks in. my stoma strictured, the ulcerations started , they should have known , I already had a gastric ulcer I named Hector in the stomach part bypassed, went in with DX of Gastritis, took me off my PPI Dexilent, put me on their ineffectual Omeprazole, may work for many, never did for ME and I have been hanging on the tail of a tornado every since! And when will it END, IDK but sure wish I did! So I chug-a-chugging along on a limited Stage 2 diet, liquids and thin purees once a day, sustained largely on the calories and nutrition from TPN fed through a PICC line in my upper Left Arm. Been there for 2 months yesterday, possibly for 2 more months, at least that was the last recommendation I was given last Friday at my EGJ, 9th endoscopy lifetime, 6th at OSU. Well to be technically correct Transnasally July 2013 EGD June 2015 EGD December 2017 those 3 were at my local Community Hospital KCH in Mount Vernon EGD immediately prior to RnY surgery September 5 2018 by Dr Needleman EGJs because post RnY duodenum is no longer accessible, only your jejunem, the 2nd section of Small Intestine Those were October 12, October 26, November 9th, November 28, that's when I was bad enough I was hospitalized and PICC l8ne inserted next day, all these done by Sabrena Noria MD, my surgeons partner who just 💞doing endoscopies. And lastly January 25 2019 by their Senior Resident Noah J Stinson MD, Dr Noria was over- booked, I guess. He wasn't too bad, this time they attempted stretching my stomal stricture part way, did it work permanently? Doubtful, Dr Noria tried in October, snapped right back where it was before, a virtual pinhole that lets only liquids through. Does THIS happen often? Oh I am so dang special I nearly stink, and I did not request to be! I WANT to be like all the others out there, my surgery day twins are on Stage 4 or Normal diets, and I'm lagging behind. Wahhh!😪😥💦
