insta_adventurer Thank you for your input! I have been trying really hard since Sunday! So 5 days and I've stayed focused and lost about 7 pounds. At this point I've been drinking a protein drink for breakfast (powder with skim milk) then at lunch I generally have a small salad or today I had carrots/broccoli with 1 oz of ranch dressing. Then I had a flatout (the healthy one) with a sargento thin slice of cheese and lean deli meat one slice. For dinner I will have a lean cuisine just for convenience! It seems to be working for now, If I start stalling which I am sure I will at some point I will choose a healthier dinner choice! I've done good not snacking because any time I feel mental hunger I just shut it up with a bunch of water! Haha!

They told me I had to loose ten percent of my body fat! They didn't really give me a good plan dieting prior to the 2 week liquid diet before the appointment.

Hey guys, What kind of diet did you follow to loose weight prior to surgery? I have 17 pounds to go. I was thinking something like a protein shake for breakfast, a lean cuisine for lunch, and a small piece or meat with a small salad for dinner. I like consistency so I wont get bored with the same things. Does this sound good or should I double up on the shakes. I need to have food as convenient as possible where I have two little kids and I work most of the day away.

Have you had your surgery?

Hi guys! I’m currently waiting for all my doctors appointments. I was curious about the nutrition class versus the dietician appointments. Will the nutrition class help me understand what I need to eat prior to surgery or is that the dietician? My closest appointment is my nutrition class on 3/9. I’ve got almost ALL my appointments scheduled for this month so things are moving fast. Any tips?
