I love that you named your ulcer. -

I kept receiving phone calls asking for more and more. I finally went down with my weight loss folder and every signed paper I have and went through it with her. I think they handle so much paperwork things get misplaced. My surgery coordinator is great about quick responses, so it worked that I made her life easier. Good luck to you. -
Any other April 2018 Sleevers?

My surgery is April 5th. Thanks for the review of Premiere Shakes. I've been reading horror stories of the other chalky, gritty ones out there. I'm getting nervous and excited at the same time. -

I have Cigna. They do cover surgery if you're >40 BMI or >35 with diabetes, hip or other diseases. I had to get another referral that shows my current insurance,

I started in July also. My paperwork was submitted on Thursday, but I have a surgery date on April 5th. I just hope I get approved. My willpower is dwindling. Struggling to stay on track right now. I share your anxiety. -
Definitely not alone. I started this process in July 2017. I went to an information session. Then got a referral to the surgeon., attended healthy plate classes, saw a nutritionist for 4 months, went to a trainer 2 months ( still going), Saw a psychologist 5 visits (will go back after surgery). I also had to write a letter of all the diets I tried and why I want surgery. My paperwork was finally submitted on Thursday. I'm glad I went through all of this because I have learned so much. Now I'm praying insurance approves my surgery. It is scheduled for April 5th.

Has anyone successfully kept weight loss surgery a secret?
domi replied to PHOEBE_10's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I've told my family and only 2 friends. Work thinks I'm having hernia surgery to explain why I'll be out. -
Zinc is really good for hair loss.

I’m with Dr Pham in California. He is also very popular so they went ahead and booked my surgery to make sure I have a date. I think we’re just starting up the hill on a roller coaster. My fingers are crossed for both of us.

I wrote a letter that noted all of the different weight loss programs and diets I have tried over the years.

I'm feeling the same. Nervous, excited, scared...all of the above. They submitted all of my paperwork to insurance today. They scheduled my surgery for April 5th, so I pray it's approved. Good luck to you.
