My battle with weight began as far back as I can remember.  As a teen, some of the adjectives used to describe me were chubby, smart, pretty face, child bearing hips, big butt, ect.  This probably wouldn't have been so bad, but I had two older sisters that had perfect bodies. So when they were size 0 and size 2, I was size 12(What I wouldn't give to be a size 12 again).   I've wasted so much of my life dieting and losing, then regaining plus ten more each time.  Back in 2010, I had finally decided that surgery was the right tool to finally help me meet and maintain my weight loss goals.  During my 6 month diet, I met my soulmate who loved me as is and at that time I decided maybe I needed to love and except myself for who I am.  Fast forward to late 2016, my mom has a health scare and I go to Kentucky to visit her.  She is now unable to get out of an easy chair in the living room except to go to the bathroom(with a walker..and she may or may not make it).  Her whole life is this chair.  And I am scared shitless, that if I don't get my health/weight under control this is me in 20 years.  And I am too young to give up!  So here I am wishing I had done it 8 years ago, but feel like my motivation for doing it now is the right one.  I cannot fail.  I have a wonderful supportive husband that I want a whole lot more time with, a couple great kids that are grown, and a beautiful little granddaughter that I want to have the energy to share in her life!
