Hello ALL!!!! i had my surgery back in March 26, 2018. my highest weight which 2 weeks before surgery was at 348. I went on a two week liquid diet (UGH) before surgery and on my surgery date i was at 326. Today i am down to 245 pounds just outside of my 4 month mark. i am extremely happy that i had the surgery. i like a lot of people was very scared and even got to the point of cancelling the surgery the night before but here i am now. it is possible. it is a different life style but its a better life style. to anyone out there trying to get the surgery id say DO IT!!! it is very important to have people around you to support you. i had my amazing girlfriend who has helped me sosososo much and also my sister. i couldnt be more grateful.

Hi all, i had my surgery on March 26. i went home the next morning and i only took the pain medicine that night. i felt like the pain was tolerable. i have now officially lost 52 pounds since my highest weight of 348 a month ago. when i started my two week pre-op liquid diet i was at 326. the day of surgery i weighed in at 319. i didnt lose too much on the diet. today im at 296 which is amazing. people are already telling me they can see the difference. i started the phase two diet which is the pureed diet. this is where im having a little bit of an issue. i cant get past cooking something and then just blending it. it doesnt taste good to me at all. do you guys have any suggestions? Highest Weight; 348lb Surgery Weight: 319lb Current Weight: 296lb Goal Weight : 190-200lb

thank you ! i see that we are like back to back on surgery dates and weight as well. so spaghetti you just blended with the sauce?
-
yes thank god im able to eat puree foods but im just having trouble on what to eat. i think what has helped me a lot is that im making sure im getting in 10,000 steps daily no matter what that helped with the gas situation as well as the losing weight
-
i didnt think of tuna, so just dont take out all the water? did you put anything on it? like Mayo replacement

Got sleeved yesterday morning and now I’m home. I’m in a little bit of pain because of the gas but I’m managing. I’m in a full liquid diet which is better. I had some doubts Sunday night before surgery but I’m glad I went through with it. It’s a lifestyle that I need/want to be better and live longer

The surgery I’m not too concerned about. It’s more of the lifestyle.

I am two days away from my surgery (26th) and I’m having seconds thoughts. I’m not sure that I want to get surgery anymore

Hi all, I am on day 2. So far so good. i have been reading up on things to "eat" while on this liquid diet (if that makes sense). sugar free gelatin sugar free popsicles. is this true? thanks y'all
