I am 4 years post op. I started at 227 and my lowest weight has been 103. I've done amazing. These last three months I have gained 14 lbs. I known shouldn't worry but I am. I would like to lose at least 7 of those. We all know the struggle and I fight it everyday still. Any advice on how to drop those few lbs? Can't seem to do it. Thanks so much and many blessings!!

I know and fear my worry is for nothing but going up a pants size is frightening. And If the weight continues to spike I'm in trouble cause I know how hard it is for me to lose. I am blessed and know I am Fortunate. I'm not trying to be ungrateful at all. Just cautious.

I work 7 days a week mostly 12 hr shifts. Nights. So I honestly don't exercise. Work is my exercise. (not making excuses). I'm just wore out from working. I eat a lot of soup, meats, and veggies. My weakness is my coffees I do used fat free creamer now. My eating could be better. I don't have the time to meal prep like I used to. Just very worried.

I'm getting worried. I started at 229lbs. My gastric bypass was 2 years ago June 21st. I lost weight pretty fast and am still losing. I am now at 103 lbs. I did not want to lose this much at all. I eat all the time trying to gain now. I am in a size 3 jeans and wearing a small shirt. I have no boobs at all. None! When I eat I feel so tired. I have had blood work done and its all good. About 3 months ago I had a celtic ulcer and had to have some emergency surgery but other than that I have been fine, just continuing to lose. I keep hoping it will taper off and I will eventually gain some back. I look bad. Does anyone have any advice on how to gain? I know that's a terrible question when we all go through so much to lose but I'm going to look like a skeleton before long. Thanks so much!

2 yrs out and 120 lbs lost!! Yeppie!! -
I recently was admitted into the hospital when a peptic ulcer I didn't know I had began to bleed and I hemmoriged. The surgeon told me they were common with people who has had weight loss surgery. He also said if I hadn't come to the hospital when I had I would had died. I lost a lot of blood. Thing is, I was in no pain leading up to this. I all of a sudden got dizzy, passed out, and when I came to I was sick to my stomach. I ran to the bathroom and there was a huge amount of blood coming from my bowels. This was 4 days ago. I spent 2 days in the hospital and am still weak. Has this happened to anyone else and if so should I be worried it may happen again?

Just take Tylenol when needed. It was so out of the blue. But I'm on the mend and hope it doesn't return:)

I started at 227 and now am 110. I never meant to lose this much but still don't want to gain. It's been 19 months and I've been fortunate enough not to gain any but I know it's still early out.

I am 18 months out and have lost 117 lbs. I started at 227 and am currently at 110. I recently lost another 5 without trying. Actually I am trying to just stop losing. Even eating more carbs. I don't want to lose another lb! Even at 5'2 I can't afford to. -
I had my gastric bypass surgery on June the 21st 2018. My starting weight was 229 pounds and my current weight is 115 pounds. I never Intended to Lose this much weight. I'm not sure on how to make the weight loss stop. I'm am eating more calories and am trying to eat as much as I can. Are there any suggestions on how I can gain any weight? Or at least make this weight loss stop? I can't afford to lose any more. Thanks so much!!

I see saggy skin....i am 50 but see a body of an 80 year old now. At least with cloths on. I wear a lot of athletic clothes. Hoodies, tshirts, leggings. I need more weight training but working 12 hour days make it hard.

I don't mean to seem like I'm complaining. I never want to go back to my old unhealthy self. Just don't want to be too skinny. Lol.....at one time I would never imagine myself saying such things🤪

I am the same. My stomach is very finicky. I thought about adding extra protein shakes. It seems when I try to eat more I tend to get so tired. It seems to drain my energy if that makes sense.

Lol!! My thighs don't touch now. I never thought I'd ever complain about that!!

This is true. I checked also. Thing is i am so small. I have no boobs left! I have had to buy new cloths time after time and yes i do shop at Goodwill and consignment shops to save money. People see me and ask me if I am sick even though I don't think I look sick at all. I have had bloodwork done and all is well. My sugar has been known to drop out of nowhere though. Maybe i am worrying for nothing but I really don't wanna lose a pond more.

All meats, potatoes, all veggies. Fruits, breads, and bow some sweets. Can't handle many sweets and don't do fried foods well.

Hi guys:) I'm a little over a year out and I went through losing my hair for about three months. I was terrified! But it does get better. It slows then stops and the regrowth starts and all is well again. I am 100 lbs down in my first year and hair is fine. Unfortunately we have to deal with the hair falling out, sometimes the lose skin but when we see the weight lose and feel all the energy it's all worth it. Hang in there. I promise it won't last long. Good luck to you and Happy Losing!!

My bypass was June 21st 2018. I started at 227 and now weigh 133. Honestly I don't want to lose anymore seeing I am 5"2. I eat what I want just cant eat much. I never seem to get hungry or at least not the hungry I've always been used to all my life. I have more energy than I've had in years and love being able to wear smaller cloths. I do have daily diarrhea no matter what I eat or how much. I hope this isn't something I'll have to deal with the rest of my life. Best of luck to you!! -

Ladies, What kind of undies do you bring to surgery with you? Do you wear them during the surgery itself? I don't know how I feel being so exposed if not....lol What about socks? Thanks so much!!

For the last few days I have had this constant hunger pain. Even after I eat. I haven't felt it before. I am just a little over my 3 month bypass surgery date. I noticed it after I stopped taking my Omeprazole. My dr told me to stop after 3 months out. I am starting to think it's not hunger pains, although it really feels like it and maybe something else. I have lost a total of 57 lbs so far with no stalls. Any ideas? I started taking the Omeprazole again today hoping it will go away. It's so uncomfortable. I have a check up next Monday and will talk to him about it as well. Thanks everyone and happy losing!!

Just wondering? Does everyone experience this? I am reading and it seems most do. I am 2.5 months out and so far so good but everytime I shower I look to see if I see hair in the tub. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using BariatricPal mobile app
