Lol my doctor told me i was big boned with broad shoulders . lol i of course though of the stereotypical joke in my head of is that another way of saying i am fat lol. I all seriousness i am abit muscular with hundred twelve pounds lean muscle mass. So even though my goal is 138 and apparently 5'2 and no longer 5'3 i will keep evaluating as i go. I was 5’3 most my adult life but apparently I have shrunk lol to 5'2 so maybe i need to make goal a little lower. i made mine 138 based of normal body fat percentage. but will keep evaluating as i go. I am on day eleven and I wasn’t paying attention and at the jello cup in about ten minutes. Shouldn’t I have felt over full or something? I didn’t feel like anything no stuffed or such. It has me worried my surgeon made my pouch larger then standard due to me being a lower BMI. I am wondering if I am going to have restriction. I am sorry you got a lot of negative feedback. I was concerned about my sleeve size as well because my doctor had concerns about me getting to thin. I was a revision due to lapband complications. So I had to do two surgeries six months apart to fix everything. I actually do think he left my stomach slightly bigger . At Surgery day I was 180 wearing size sixes and some eights. Two and a half weeks out I am back to fours . So yeah the stomach size was a concern for me. Yes I had pain there for awhile I am the 13th and it just now eased up. The doctor also put me on stool softener as part of discharge meds have to take every day for first month. Well I did love mine the first six years then well it was a flipped port then things just got worse I was a size four and six and did well. Then at the ten year mark it got bad I could now longer keep food down it herniated my esophagus and eroded into my stomach. I have to sleep sitting up or I coughed up content of stomach. I went to ER they did tests and I had to have emergency surgery two days later. Because I was so small they didn’t want to revise and yes being without my band I was starving for first time in ten years I went from size for to six and eights so dr refused to do vsg until my stomach could heal I had to weight six months. I knew I needed a tool in my life. So I fought to lose the ten pounds I gained took the classes through insurance and had vsg 2/13 slightly over six months from my band removal. The band is great until it’s not. My doctor told me ten years seems to be the magic number for most he doesn’t see bands stay longer then that really and explained that Kiaser not longer will do them because of the issues. I think it’s hard no matter the size. I was Married over twenty years and when I started dating I was clueless. The site today it’s crazy I won’t even touch that lol.
