Hi everyone, I have gastrophoresis. It comes from having out of control blood sugars. Does anyone out there have the same thing. I only feel good when I eat things that are light on my stomach for example cream soup, puddings yogurt. If I eat anything else it does not do well on my stomach. Is there anyone who has the same problem.

Does anyone know of a Lapband Dr in Sterling Heights Michigan. I would like to know because I will be back in MIchigan from July 1, 2008 until August 4, 3008. I would be just in case I needed to see.

Hi Everyone, Well I made a second trip to Boise in two days. My band was too tight so they had to take some saline out. I feel alot better since then. I can drink water before I could not ever drink that without throwing up. I was with my second fill. Haven't had any liquids besides coffee and water.

Hi today I went for my second fill today June 26. I am not sure but ever since I left the Dr. office I have been throwing up. I just got done taking my medications and they came back up. I dont know if I should take sips of water or what. Should I call my dr tomarrow. I will be leaving out of state on Tuesday July 1, 2008. I am even throwing up water. Should I just take teaspoons of water.

I have been married for 17 years. I did not think my husband was not sympathetic either. Then I thought back my husband wears his feelings mostly inside. He will say something like I know everything will be alright don't worry. When I went for my surgery he paced like when I had my daughter. Don't sell him short he may be worried inside about you and just not letting you see it.

hI everyone, I lost weight to 197 then I gained weight back to 203. I feel so bad about gaiining back the weight has this happened to anyone. I love this group.

Hi everyone I haven't been sigined in a week. I really missed all of you. I am trying to get into the dr tomarrow hopefully I will. I really need a band adjustment. I have had only 1 and that was on April 29th. Was schedule for June 2nd but I was not feeling good so the Dr. said he would not do an adjustment. I am feeling great now. So keep your fingers crossed.

Hi I have tupperware plates that I had bought when my daughter was little. They work out fine. They have sandwhich plates that usually come with a place setting. I don't use the little tea cup or silverware. I think it doesn't work for me.

How much is the whey Protein? I would really like to know. I buy it from Walmarts and it costs me$18.99. I am just looking for the best possible price.

Hi I am thinking about going on the full liquids again. For at least 2 days. I spent throwing up today. I know it is because I ate too fast. I just want to know if it would hurt.

Hi everyone, I drink over 64 oz of water does this mean I need a fill. I can also eat and not fill up. I have only had 1 fill since my surgery.

I had my surgery done on March 17,2008 I feel bloated at times. My stomach growls.

I have been having a struggle with eating slower. I have been so used to eating fast while I was working I know I am not supposed to do it but sometimes I eat in front of the T.V. Chewing is a big one with me. But I am doing it.

i was on clear liquids for 3 weeks before and 3 weeks after my surgery. I was real hungry;.

Yes you can have your protein drink. I have to go about 100 miles and I take yogurt with me to eat. I know for about 48 hours afterwards you are suppose to be on a full liquid diet. This is the instructions my Dr. has given me.

Hi over the 50 gang. Guess what I here I am at 53 am finally learning to eat. All my life I have had to eat in 10 minutes. Although my lunch break was 30 minutes I would eat in 10 minutes. Now I am training myself to take longer to eat. It is one step that I am doing quite well.

My Dr. said the same thing about no carbonation. Of course I just had to have a coke. I will never drink any Carbonated waster again. I drink either water or Ice Tea. I dont know if the ice tea is much better. Incidentally I got violently sick off the soda pop

Hi Sooner, I am an insulin dependent diabetic. I was on Glucophage but I have been taken off of it. I had to lose 15 pounds before. I was at a borderline. I thought they may not approve the surgery. But they did. I worked so hard that they did the surgery on March 17th. I have Blue Cross/Blue Shield. What I would do is ask them how much weight I would have to lose? If I did lose the weight would I still qualify for the lapband? I think I mainly qualified because my PMD said I needed this surgery because of the Diabetes. I have been a Diabetic for 15 years. It has started to affect parts of my body. Real bad Neuropathy in both legs, gastrophories.

On an average my blood pressure runs about 120/70 I have been cut to 1 lovastin from 2. My Cozaar has been cut in half. I had my surgery on March 17,2008.

I have IBS and Diverticulosis and have seen no change.

Hi everyone, I went to see my Dr today. I been having problems with my feet legs and feet swelling and feel really bloated lately not to mention I have fallen down a few weeks ago. I went in and got my blood pressure pills lowered. I am on hydrochlorthiziade it doesn seem to work. I went all the way to Boise to have an adjustment. I gained 5 lbs back. My surgeon said it could be water retention. That maybe the pills aren't working for me. I would like to know if anyone out there has ever gained weight? Please help. I feel just like crying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Depressed
