    3+ weeks update
Last week I felt too swollen so I went to get checked out. Plenty of testing later it was decided I have two tiny pockets of Fluid (seroma) but they are not nearly big enough to aspirate. The plan is to let them disparate naturally. Ok,cool.
But then I also noticed my belly button is slower healing than everything else (my incisions are completely healed) so through constant communication with my plastics team and hometown intervention it has been suspected that because I had previous hernia repair (with VSG and RNY) the blood supply to the umbilicus is compromised #wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh😭😭😭😭
What this means so far, IDK but my surgeon believes it will heal properly but much slower than anticipated. That reassurance was... reassuring. I'm not bothered as it does not hurt, is not infected etc.
Besides that hiccup it has an amazing aesthetic value 😂 honestly everything has exceeded my expectations and its no big deal since I was prepared for a few speed bumps along the way
So swelling is gradually reducing thanks to wearing compression garments (or divine intervention) but I feel pretty good, like really really good.
The Tatas are no issue in fact they are beautiful and I could not be happier. I'm no longer taking Tylenol because I have no pain (Well ... just stiffness after sleeping laying too long) in fact I went to my niece's baby shower Saturday night. I worked hard and partied harder. I had forgotten I just had surgery when dancing and my boyfriend has to rein me in 😳

    BREAKING NEWS:
I wore my pre-op jeans yesterday for like 8 hours AND I didn't feel like I was going to bust open the buttons!
Also, I measured my waist this morning, and it is back to my pre-op measurement!! If you remember, I had swelled to +5.5" in that area, yikes.
...I continue, however, to be on lower-belly and upper-thigh watch for any signs swell decrease. Le sigh.

Dang girl! I don't know if I'm more impressed with your surgical "liberation" or if I'm more impressed that you have your hair and makeup looking fabulous as always and you have your impish grin sparkling despite being in pain. Way to walk on it hon! You are just doing beautifully!

I finally went up to my attic and took everything plus-sized and either donated it or mailed it off to my friend who's that size. Because I'm a size 12/14 (I have big hips) and I'm not going back to being that heavy again.

Fantastic topic! I'm six weeks post- op and so far my non-scale victories are
    1) Much better sleep - my sleep apnea and snoring are gone (after 40 lbs lost.) Incredible. I now sleep through the night when before I would awaken every couple of hours sometimes knowing I was choking.
    2) Much lower food costs - and since I had to pay for the surgery myself (BMI was 34) I've calculated my lower food bills will pay for it within three years and after that it's money in the bank making for an easier retirement. As you can imagine prior to my pre-surgery liquid diet then now post-surgery I was spending a lot of money at the grocery store plus sometimes eating out. I could eat a huge amount at one time and was used to doing so. Now I average about 850-900 high quality calories a day and love seafood - no, not the breaded stuff I used to eat but salmon, shrimp, lump crab meat, etc.
    3) My plantar fascitis is gone and I can now walk without pain or worry, though I make sure to always wear good support shoes with gel inserts - no way do I ever want that again (like walking on shards of broken glass.) Am looking forward to joining a local once-a-week walking/hiking club when they start up again after winter.
    4) Lower blood pressure. Prior to surgery it was 140/90 - doctor ready to put me on medication. At my one month post-op check it was 100/60! The nursing assistant took it twice because she couldn't believe it but when I was younger and thin that was normal for me. My resting heart rate was 62 bpm but prior to surgery was 85 bpm. So my heart is not working nearly so hard. I don't know what my A1c blood sugar is now since it won't be checked for a couple months but it was pre-diabetes before surgery. Since I'm virtually off sugar and starches it has to be in the normal range now plus I no longer have to get up multiple times each night for the high blood sugar side effect of having to go to the bathroom frequently.
    3) Planning to travel with my sister - before we couldn't share a room because of my snoring and choking from sleep apnea waking her up so we would have had to pay for separate hotel rooms, making it much more expensive so a lot less trips would be possible. Now we can share a room with separate beds saving money that can be used for more trips. And because my plantar fascitis is gone we can explore each location fully with long walks. We're planning on spending Xmas and New year's 2020-21 in Paris

I went to the Health Unit at my job the other day because I was a little worried about my blood pressure. I automatically reminded the Medical Assistant to use the extra large cuff but she looked at me, squeezed my arm, and said, "No, I think the smaller one will fit." She was right and the added bonus was that my blood pressure is still holding steady at below 120.

I’m in my stripes base layer pants, with fluffy snow boots. My partner laughed at me, but I’m pretty sure the mismatching just makes me look more legit. 😂

Look what arrived today!!!!! The 25th gala shoes! Love them for the more quieter gown. YES, ms.sss I did see the perky girls on surgery day. They are all and more I could have ever hoped for! Just excited to see the tummy territory BUT will keep all safely in their compressed garment cocoon for now! Are you pleased with your plastics results? Starting to feel yourself again? I am pretty swelled in tummy area. Did I tell you the surgeon removed 5 pounds!? I feel so much lighter now on smaller frame. Model more for us! wanna see, wanna see... the fun things you've been procuring. These tropical beauties were also delivered today from friends. Feeling very thankful today.

    Thanks everyone!
I got a LBL not to have to deal w a poochy tummy ever again.

I think the points made about me not being 100% comfortable are spot on. Another consideration is swelling was down when I took that pic, so on the actual meeting day it is likely to be worse.
I have one faux wrap dress picked out that skims the belly and makes me feel fab. But, I need a second dress (and 3 pants outfits, but that's easier). I have like 75 dresses coming over the weekend, so maybe I'll find a winner. This dress is in the solid maybe category until then.
Also don't think there is need to hide the boobs, it's not like you are showing alot of cleavage or anything, and they look awesome (I dont see any asymmetry in height ether...)
My boob issue is two fold. The asymmetry isn't a big concern. Someone would have to take a GOOD look to see it in clothes. But my breast shape, especially the right is odd, similar to the below pic, but not as extreme. So there needs to be something going on at the neckline to distract from the shape, which is why the cowl neck works. V necks also work, but I have to make sure it's not showing too much boob. My company is Asian, and pretty conservative. So I'm comfortable in fitted clothes, but not anything too short or too low.

are you wearing your butt panties since having the LBL?
Lol, YES! Butt panties in place in the pic. I HAD a cute little perky butt at first after LBL, but it was apparently swelling. Just last weekend after I got out of the shower my bf says "Babe! I think you lost your little butt!" 😭
Do you have a silver chain belt? Not sure if i would wear this at a high profile meeting. I would lean more to a cute skirt and probably button down shirt
I don't own a chain belt, but do have several in my "Saved for Later" Amazon cart. (Did you guys know it will only hold 500 items? 😂) I have never done the button down shirt thing, I don't even own any or have any in my cart. I'll put figuring out of I can pull that off on my to do list, but no time before my meetings next week.
Thanks again everyone! To be continued!

You look amazing! Gorgeous dress. I agree with what @ms.sss said - wear what *you* feel best in. Not knowing too much about the big meeting, I don't know if maybe something a little looser fitting would be more suitable. In any case, you look fantastic in this dress so if it's the one you feel best in then by all means wear it to that meeting!

First you look pretty HOT tummy or not.
My initial response is to go with how you feel, and if you are comfortable. If you are going to be self-conscious, then choose something else. We need you to feel awesome for your Very Important Meetings.
With that said, if it were me, I'd go with a a looser dress that drapes over the second curve vs hugs?
P.S. Also don't think there is need to hide the boobs, it's not like you are showing alot of cleavage or anything, and they look awesome (I dont see any asymmetry in height ether...)

    SHEIN.com UPDATE:
OK, so I got my first SHEIN order delivered this afternoon! And no, I didn't get the entire 113 item long wishlist, LOL, I shortlisted it to a mere 8 items (this time, hahaha). One item was for the Kid so really, I only got 7.
Anyhoo, for the relatively cheap prices of the products, they are much more well made than I thought they would be.
Shipping to Canada took 8 days from order submission and was FREE.
Sizing is pretty good, the items I got in XS fit well enough, wished they offered XXS, but I can live with the XS fit.
I got a bikini in size S since they didn't have it is XS, and I sort of knew it might be too big, and yeah, it was.
I also got a halter that was "ONE-SIZE", and that was too big too.
Otherwise and pretty pleased with my purchases and can't wait to wear them all out somewhere!

I got my hair done yesterday, it’s leaning more purple and less pink now. And today’s outfit is cozy leggings and sweater dress. I’m wearing the belt that I think was first worn in here by sillykitty?
