I've been taking Bariatric Advantage multivitamins and calcium citrate chewy bites. They're kinda like Starbursts candy, not the chaulky chewable kind. I'm 7 mos post sleeve.

I was sleeved Aug 15 and am making it into the regular size clothes - yay! But I have no idea where to shop since I've been shopping at Plus size stores for so long. Mostly interested in blouses, slacks for work. Suggestions?

Congratulations!! I just checked mine and I am too!

I just checked too! I'm ALSO just overweight! Yay us! My surgery was 8/15/18.

I am so deeply sorry for the loss of your precious grandson and loving mother

Why do you have six more months to lose the last 35 lbs? What's driving that time limit?
-
Congratulations! Reaching ONEderland was one of the most exciting milestones for me.
-
I will gladly share my results because I am proud of myself but I really truly want to caution you against comparing to others as each person's journey is different. I had my surgery 6 months ago on August 15th. Pre surgery diet I lost 15 lbs (weighed 265), plus another 60 lbs post sleeve surgery to date, for a total of 75 lbs! I now weigh 190! I'm in my early 50s and don't remember the last time I was in ONEderland. But I will not lie, it hasn't been easy. There's a lot involved, especially the mental part. Good luck.

I went to the mall for help in buying a new bra. The sales person grabbed a t-shirt for me to try on with the bras. When she handed it to me I paused and said I'd probably need a larger size. She said it was a medium which is what she said looked like my size. And by golly, it fit!

My #1 takeaway from this community is this: Do. Not. Compare. Yourself. To. Others. #2 Do not weigh every day. 26 lb loss so far is awesome so focus on that accomplishment. Best wishes on your continued journey.

I echo what others have commented above. You've got this! -
Congratulations! I reached it a couple weeks ago. Such a great feeling.

How many calories should I be consuming?

What does your Dr say? It seems everyone's program is different. For the first several months mine said to focus on protein and liquids only, not to worry about calories. -
After surgery, ever eat food you shouldn’t?
rs replied to Bluebird_'s topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I'm just about 6 months post sleeve, weight loss 70 lbs incl pre surgery diet. Yes I've eaten unhealthy at different times, including having alcohol. But I know myself and if I completely remove unhealthy things then I will end up binging at some point and it may take a long time to get back on plan so I just stay mindful of my choices and most days I do eat healthy. Best of luck on your journey. -

Ditto what JessLess said. It's common to feel that way. And it will get better. Keep reaching out for support. Hang in there. -
Great job keeping it off! I read so many stories about regain that it's really nice to hear a positive story. Congratulations!
-
I'm sorry you've slipped. I hope you are able to get back on track soon. Thank you for reminding us to always stay vigilant.

Baritastic. Love it.

I rediscovered sunflower seeds! In the shell. Good substitution for chips or candy or other junk. Keeps me busy trying to get past the shell to the seed. Plus protein.
-
Me too! Didn't realize there was a medical term for it.

The first week was so was excruciatingly hard for me too. Hang in there. Try Fairlife Core Power protein shakes. You've got this!

Yes I started having cocktails again about 1 month post surgery. No issues. Was told that with the weight loss I would feel the effects of alcohol faster. I haven't found that to be the case. Since my stomach can't handle as much liquid I now order doubles.
