You can bake it on a sheet rack instead of frying. Kind of like shake and bake it’ll be crunchy and about 100 calories less per serving

Well. That someone wanted to do something positive for you is the worse thing that happens during this journey I think life is pretty good. You could just say thank you do as you wish and I to will do my own thing. Toodles

You can buy the collagen peptides. Unflavored. 10 grams protein plus so much collagen which helps rebuild hair skin and nails there are a couple of different companies. Just make sure it has 10 gram of protein or more. I bought mine from amazon.

You will need the full 2 months. I’m in the same boat. I’m in my 5 th pre op and all green lights with the exception of the smoking. 2 more weeks and I’ll be smoke free for 2 months. They do a urine test to check. So. I’ve been good quit cigs booze soda fat straws every thing but caffeine I’m now on 50/50 coffee and plan on caffeine free in time for my 2 week liquid diet. There are times I want to smoke so bad but then I realize having smoked 20+ years. Isn’t that long enough. Sugar free gum helps but wanting to save my life and be healthy wins every time. Good luck. I have to be free of nicotine for 2 months before they let you meet the surgeon. Not smoking or drinking or so days has been easy to give up getting rid of coffee is still a work in process. Anyone else?

I had my mammogram today and was able to fit and tie the gown with no problem.

If you have a rice cooker bring it. I can cook basically anything in it. Soup. Eggs veggies chicken. Ect

You too are great and I think may need a little “ME” time. You spreading yourself too thin. Can anyone step in to help with all the care you’re giving to the family. You made this commitment to yourself when you had surgery. So we all here gave your back. Take the control back and do it. !!

V8 was also recommended as a between meal snack while on the liquid diet both pre and post op.

I was referred to a book by my psychologist. “Ending Emotional Eating” you can get it at Amazon. It’s really helping. Please give it a read and let me know your thoughts. I can use some support with being held hostage by food too

I have not a big fan of the creamer the non dairy fat free sugar free creamer (dry) is pretty good. Bought if at Aldi
