  1. High Protein, low fiber, low liquids, pain meds - all = Constipation. Make sure to get plenty of liquids, and walk! Walk walk walk walk walk! I would stay away from meds to help you, unless your surgeon approves. Mine told me to stay away from everything but colace and milk of magnesia. Colace first try - if that doesn't work, then go with the milk. Thankfully I only had one real bad day and I won't go into the details on that.

Cool! Thanks for the information [emoji51]

  2. Me three days post op: “Dear God, will I ever poop again?”
Me six days post op: “Dear God, why is there a waterfall coming out of my butt for the forth time today?”
I am learning to be careful what I wish for, that’s for sure [emoji38]

You’re my sleeve twin btw [emoji847][emoji847][emoji847]

  3. I had my sleeve surgery on 2/6 and haven’t been able to poop yet. I did finally start farting today and even that was incredible! I swear I heard the Hallelujah chorus!

Yes!!!! The poopies are simply heaven!!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩 Congratulations on ya gas releases [emoji100][emoji947]

  4. If you're on the two week pre-op liquid diet of Protein Shakes, that's a lot of Protein and zero Fiber. My advice is to buy both Miralax and suppositories pre-op. Mix miralax in Day 2 post-op and I needed to use a suppository on day 3 or 4. Since then I've been really regular (TMI) but yes every visit to the toilet is a gift.

I’m doing well pooping!!! I’m on Phase I .. [emoji6][emoji18] Post-op sleeved on 2/5/18 discharged on 2/7/18!!! Working on hydration, rest and healing!!! 🧘🏽‍♀️[emoji295]️

  7. Hi,
I also recently had my surgery on 2/2/18. Overall not to bad just a little back pain. I am getting enough Fluid and i have to keep track of my Protein count each day. I am getting tried of drink the same thing. It gets boring after a while.
On my calendar, i place the what each week is. Just to know what stage I on that day.
    Later

Yeah, I’m thinking the same thing! I’m gonna go to Barnes and noble and look for a book of foods and recipes to help me with selections and acceptable recipes for each stage! I just got discharged yesterday! I’ve been taking sugar free popsicles, broth and Jello. Do you know of an app to keep track that might help? I haven’t started Protein yet?

  8. I had my sleeve done on 1/17... At this point I am not in pain, I never had too much pain... I try hard, but I don't get all of my fluids in
