Hello!! I had my surgery scheduled for February 28th... but got postponed to April 17th. Now I have changed my procedure to the RNY (or anti reflux surgery) as I have had 3 months of bad vomiting and reflux. My gastroentrologist says the RNY will solve my reflux problems as well as adress the weight issue. My son, who is 19, will be having the gastric sleeve... one day before me - on the 16th of April. We are in Australia. Travelling to Malaysia for surgery. We have our GP, psychologist and dietitian here managing us when we get home, and hoping for plenty of advice and support from the internet! Am really looking forward to going through this journey with my son. Any one here travelling to another country for surgery?

I was supposed to have my procedure done at the end of this month - 27th feb for my son and 28th feb for me. Now we both have moved to 17th April.

If u dont mind, how much do you weigh? I think the pre-op diet has something to do with your weight maybe

Hi kakatlady!! I live in Gold Coast, Australia. Had to do some converting there as we do all our measurements in Kilogrammes! Anyway, thanks for the welcome and I am still trying to figure out this app! Why are u unsure if u r having the surgery?

Mine is February 28th!! I am 47. And my son is having the sleeve a day before on February 27th. He is 20 I just installed this app... still feeling my way around.
