I really enjoy reading this site i am on the fence wether i want to get this done or not . I really appreciate all of your honesty i am 5' 2" 215 needing to lose 75lbs . I am a chronic YO-YO dieter. I also have med issues that make me a good candidate i also have Aetna Ins . Any other advice would be great for this fence sitter .

for the warm welcome :thumbup: i am still a fence sitter but i am going to the meeting anyway . In what area is your surgeon ? I have Aetna insurance ...anyone else ?

I am a CNA but i dont really lift anything over 10 lbs (babys) i do have to bend . Ohhhhhh just let me e mail you it will be easier . How do i get my ticker on here i do have one . Thanks

MWH has a new program in 2008 the Dr's came from MIchigan. I will go with whoever takes me that i feel comfy with . It's all about TRUST... how long where you off of wk. Can the port be put on the right side ? I HAVE TO sleep on my left . Thanks for the feedback

Same here everyone i am from Illinois born & raised near Ottawa I-80 West .....I MISS HOME ! I came to Va by way of the military...Can the port be put on the right ? I absolutely have to sleep on my left i have vertigo problems if i lay down on my rt side . Can you also help a girl out with the ticker ? I have one but where do i go to post it ? Thanks :thumbup:

Me me me (waving hand in the air) i am from Ladysmith . Hey thanks i will go with whoever accepts me . I haven't even gone to a 1st meeting yet . My Dr. wants to try MWH first then Richmond i have Aetna Ins & medical issues to make me a good pick . How long till you can go back to work ? I'm thinking 1 week is that realistic ? Thanks Lee Anne

I love straight forward upfront & to the point. The nurse from the Dr. Office will call me & let me know when the meeting is . I am so full of MANY questions i am about to burst . I can't sleep because of this . That's why i am up @ 2:30 am i have been awake since 6:30 am . I will continue to read here & try to be patient. So did you like MW Hosp ? How soon till you are back at work ?

I live in Ladysmith & I just went to see my primary Dr today & i was shocked he is not against this surgery. I havent even been to a meeting yet & i want off this YO-YO.......nice to meet ya everyone. Id like to join in if you can squeeze me in .

I am new here & live in Caroline Cnty near Kings Dominion (really !) I am interested in any information i can get . I went to my primary Dr today & he agreed i am a "good candidate". I was floored he agreed. I can either go to MW Hosp or Richmond.
