What type of advice can you guys offer for friends/family members who want to support? My best friend/ roommate wants to support me but doesn't know how. Thank you! No date yet but hopefully going to set one on Monday. I just made the decision last week to have this done across the boarder after I found out my insurance wouldn't cover and I'd have to pay out of pocket. My cousin had the bypass about a year and a half ago. I'm hoping to meet people who are on the same timeline as me so we can experience this together. Thank you for sharing this! I struggle with the same back issues. This is one of the main reasons I am looking Into getting this done. Not being able to walk or stand for more than 15 to 20 mins is killing me . Chronic back pain is killing me. I want to be healthy and able to walk and run and work out.
