Scheduled for sleeve July 10th may back out

I had surgery in January of 2018. It did take me 2 1/2 years to consider it in all honesty. But it was the best thing I ever did (other then having my daughter). I am happier and healthier then I ever thought I could be. I walk anywhere from 1to 3 miles about 4 times a week and don’t get winded. Bottom line is that you need to feel comfortable about it. Let your doctor know your fears see if they can ease your mind -
I just have to sit and relax. My pain seems to subside pretty quickly.

So this is my first post. I have tried to look thru the other post but could not find an answer. I had the sleeve done on 1/9/18 so I am now 5 weeks post surgery. I am in the soft food stage. But after I eat something within a few minutes its like I feel it passing thru my stomach and it hurts. Not a sharp pain, but more blunt and it passes as soon as it enters my stomach, I am assuming is normal... I dont have a dr appt until the 26 Feb. I am down a total of 45lbs since I started watching what I eat last september. Thank you!!!

That’s a pretty good idea. Helps control the amount.

I was wondering if there would still be swelling after 5 weeks. I guess the body goes thru so much trauma it makes sense.

Got it. I know i have to figure out my limits. And it takes time. I am glad it sounds normal and not a medical problem. That is a relief
