I agree, exciting! Do you embark in Cartagena? If so, get there early and spend some time! I loved it there!

    ❤ JANUARY 2019 CHALLENGE ❤

Since I live alone and can only eat an ounce or two at a time, I don't really cook for myself. My on plan recipe has been my Medifast shakes with Fairlife milk, sometime with pb powder added as well. They get me a long way to my protein goal each day, and actually taste good. Also, I forgot to cancel my last autoship, so I have A LOT of shakes to get through. So this is also helping with my pantry project
  5. Pretty often! There is work, so that's out of my control for the most part. But even personal, frequently enough. For example Sunday, went out to watch the game and did some bar hopping, ate and drank from 10am-11pm in total.

I'm up for adoption! She sounds like my sister who recently told me ..."Man, you might lose your boobs entirely!"

    Sub to bread

Ok, I did not notice you were banded, not sleeved. One of my close friends has the band. She is years out, but still often does not tolerate bread, and sometimes pasta. I think sushi is ok for her though

    Not my Dr., Thank Heavens!

I feel like you're talking about me
  10. Some tips... it HURTS, like way more than I expected. I assume it's in the city, so you wouldn't drive, but I'd encourage you to Lyft back. Make sure your Dr. prescribes you Misoprostol, which you take the night before to make insertion easier. That's all I got for now, until I eavesdrop some more

    Sub to bread

I know every program is different. But mine doesn't disallow either rice or seaweed, or anything actually. My surgeon encourages low carb, but since I've been successful he doesn't say much to me about it. There is very little that bothers my stomach. Sometimes food can feel heavy, and it's mildly uncomfortable, but that's about it. Yes, I've had bread (even bagels), rice, seaweed. You name it, I've had it. I'm not encouraging you to not follow your surgeon's plan, but at the same time you have to find a long term sustainable diet for yourself. I absolutely rebel at the thought of being on a plan that includes "absolute never agains", that just seems unnecessarily draconian and unrealistic (small rant over) Oh, and you could always do sushi with a cucumber wrap

    Sub to bread

Agree, way too early out for bread, but once all healed, I tolerate bread just fine. I also do sushi just fine. Raw tuna was one of my first soft proteins. Why is it never again for you?

    Folios Cheese Wraps

They say 100% real cheese, so they can't be too different than just thin sliced cheese. Maybe a texture change, since they are baked? INGREDIENTS: PASTEURIZED MILK, SALT, ENZYMES, ANNATTO COLORING

    ❤ JANUARY 2019 CHALLENGE ❤

#9 - How I'm keeping on plan Protein and logging - doing well, Logging is easy for me. Protein has been a struggle, but I've been making protein drinks w Fairlfe, so that gets me mostly to my goal, and I down one even if it's 10 pm, ugh Supplements - Just lay them all out and get through them throughout the day. Doing mostly well, missed a few multi's or calciums due to the need to space them out, and I just run out of time during the day Hydration - This has not been a success, because as I stated, I'm not a true believer. Just hard to find the motivation on this

    Dating

No kidding! So much negativity on this thread! No one is advocating dating to find a bad partner, one that makes you unhappy or makes you play a role, etc.. I am happy single, but I would be happier in a healthy relationship.

    Dating

I was on that, sooo many fake profiles. I found it to be a total waste of time, ditto on Elite Singles. As far as hook up apps, no personal experience, but from what I hear, Tinder, Bumble, and the like are the best options. OKC & POF are good for hook ups, but the quality of the men on there, ugh, I'm not interested in d*ck pics during our first text convo. But my geography is completely different than yours, so YMMV BTW, I've had the most success on Match, a "serious relationship app", but most guys are looking for, or would be fine with Netflix & Chill, IME
