  1. Well ... I’m much nearer to a lot of the regular contributors to this thread than I usually am 😊
  2. Further evidence @greentealael and I are alternate universe versions of each other ... I detest matcha and not even embedding it in a rice crispy treat can make it palatable 😂
  3. So would this give me the benefits of matcha? 😂

    Please help!

I'm sorry to hear that you are struggling. Do you log you meals?
  7. This ... except the scale can sometime go up after a week, it it is still ok! The key is having perspective. Over the long term you will lose weight. But in the short term, you cannot expect to lose weight every single day. If you can except that, then weigh as often as you'd like.

  9. This! I set my goal weight based upon getting to a healthy BMI. My surgeon thought that was good, but cautioned me it was optimistic.

  13. So even when I don't mean to do IF, I end up eating in limited windows anyway. I'm a little frustrated with myself because I want to stop the weight loss even more now since it's coming at the expense of my curves. I tend to be a morning person, and between emails, phone calls and BP, my mornings just disappear. It's nearly 1 pm and I haven't had anything to eat yet (or laid out all my supplements). I need to get better about this. (But I have drank my 64 oz already, so small yay?)

    All or Nothing?

I definitely ate off plan, many times significantly so. But I never went into this with illusion I would be perfect. I knew that for me to be successful long term I'd need balance. Feeling deprived is the death of my will power. So I have never "cheated" because nothing was ever not allowed, for me. But I did practice discipline whenever possible, either easy situations (eating at home), or if I was feeling virtuous (ordering roast chicken at a restaurant). I never lost sight of my goal of being a healthy weight. So even when I went off plan, I knew that soon enough I'd get back on track. I never considered giving up, or any long term back sliding.

    NEW RULES

I had this secret fantasy of getting revenge with an ex after I lost weight by meeting up for drinkings, looking hot af and not giving him any. But I knew that the flesh can be weak, so I couldn't be trusted to follow through with the not giving him any. Now, I honestly have no desire to ever see or hear from him again. I deserve better and he is literally not worth my time. That is something I used to tell myself, but not believe deep down, but now I know it's the absolute truth.

Thanks so much for giving us the run down. I have considered going to MX myself. It's just so close and easy, and would save so much $. I'm not too concerned abut the health risk. I'm more concerned about the quality of work. It doesn't make sense to save $10K if I hate my body, right? I'm curious as to why they don't want to do lift and implant at the same time? That's like standard mommy makeover material. What are their reasons? Because you have a significant amount of breast tissue left? It's good to know they are willing to do arms and breasts at the same time. I had read that there might be issues with skin being pulled different directions. In my fantasy world I get breasts, arms, tummy & thighs all done at the same time. But I'm pretty sure that isn't possible, or at least not with good results. This info has great timing. I realized this weekend that the last 10 lbs or so I lost has all come from my breasts and butt. The bras I just bought a month ago now don't fit. I was previously happy with the look of my breasts, just missed the fullness. Now they have officially pancaked, it's not a good look.

    ❤ JANUARY 2019 CHALLENGE ❤

#14 - Biggest NSV so far I'm going to change this to my biggest NSV this month .... hiking without feeling anxious I would be out of breath, sweaty, overly exhausted, and generally just feel embarrassed about my weight. That was a huge reason I avoided physical activity, I felt humiliated I was so out of shape.
