    Stalled already(!??) or insulin resistance?

Way too early to worry about stalling. Your body is adjusting to the shock of surgery, and the lack of food. BTW ... the people down 20-30-0 lbs in 11 days usually that includes the preop diet weight loss BBTW ... you need to be taking in more than 200 cals, you can't be getting all your protein if you're only eating 200 cals

I didn't realize when I lost weight that ... People would no longer recognize me. It's led to a lot of awkward personal and professional interactions.

    Calories TOO low?

I only have anecdotal evidence, but our stats are similar, minus the PCOS. I was quite low cal for most of my weight loss phase. I was actually under 500 cals for many, many days early on. I too was worried about wrecking my metabolism. I'm very grateful, that my metabolism doesn't appear to be damaged at all. I actually got below goal, and am currently working on how to maintain, and not continue to lose. I am currently averaging probably around 1500/day, and still losing, albeit slowly. (Eating healthily, and getting to 1500 cals is harder than I ever imagined it could be)
  10. No, it's because if you eat more calories than you burn, no matter the source, you will gain weight. I could eat Doritos and wash it down with Coke everyday and lose wight. Or I could eat "fresh, organic, non processed" fruits, grains, dairy, meats, and gain weight. Weight loss is (nearly) all about quantity, not quality. You continually put forth this false premise that everyone on this forum is anti-carb. The facts are @MGBinIsrael is currently eating a relatively high carb, high-ish calorie diet. He is unhappy with his stalled weight loss, and lack of satiety. He asked for help, but when given solid advice he either ignores or argues against it.

    The shakes three weeks post

I felt weak and shaky a few weeks post op, it turned out to be low B12 levels
  13. Some people get lucky and have reduced hunger, but it is certainly no guarantee, especially with a bypass since your stomach is all still intact. Just because you are hungry doesn't mean you have to eat. Have you tried to push past your hunger? I find that drinking calorie free drinks will let me get past the hunger hump. It is hard at first, but it gets easier and easier each day. You really need to log your food. You need to see how many cals your eating. You need to be able to pin point which foods trigger you to be more hungry. As is said over and over on these boards, this surgery isn't magic. All weight loss comes down to burning more than you consume. WLS makes it easier for us to do that, but we can't just sit back and expect the surgery to do all the work.
  14. I have had issues with B12 starting shortly post WLS. I at first got injections. But now I take a sublingual about once a week, and that seems to have solved it in my case.

    Vomiting Vitamins

I also have an issue with keeping vitamins down, even before I was sleeved. I spoke to my surgeons PA about it because I couldn't keep any of the recommended brands down. She recommended Whole Foods Prenatal, and it has been great, it doesn't upset my stomach at all.

    Ready for pureed food stage

Just a word of warning ... I prepped just as you did, had a house full of purees on hand. And I ate about 10% of them. I donated or threw away 90%. You will really be eating very little at this point. I still spent a lot of my day drinking protein shakes, to get the minimum in. That didn't leave a lot of time or stomach room for purees.

    Hair loss

It's actually more noticeable (and not in a good way) then my hair loss was. I'll be happy when it is long enough to lay flat!

    Hair loss

I also started losing hair at 3 months post op, at about 6 months post op it stopped. Now at over a year post op it is growing back. I have about 3 inch long chicken hair sticking out all over 🤣
