Food Before and After Photos
sillykitty replied to GreenTealael's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
It was probably less than 1/2 a cup left, it was only 2 chunks. This time I was hungry directly afterwards though 😣 -

ScarAway Silicone Scar Sheets
sillykitty replied to justmetj's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
There is also plenty of unbranded silicon tapes. I got mine on Amazon, and my scars are nearly invisible now -
Your calorie level is in line with most on this forum. As stated above, stalls and hair loss are normal and part of the process (especially stalls)

Gastric sleeve post op

As far as gas, you can’t be positive on that, because we expel gas during our sleep -
Gastric sleeve post op
sillykitty replied to layashmil's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I agree with everyone that hydration is important and you should focus on that. The going to the hospital if you don’t have a bm for three day is odd. If you’re taking in very little food (protein shakes at this point), how is a bm going to happen? For me, I took mag citrate so was flushed out completely pre surgery. I had my first bm on day 8. -
How did you decide the sleeve was for you and any regrets?
sillykitty replied to Panda333's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
It’s most likely your higher BMI that is causing your surgeon to recommend bypass. Bypass patients generally lose more quickly. So you will be better able to utilize your honeymoon period and be more likely to get to a healthier BMI -

Thanks! It’s good to have a plan for when regains happens! 😊 -
Lol ... or someone like me who looks fit, but it's all an illusion. When I run errands in yoga pants and sneakers people might assume I'm heading to the gym afterwards. Nope, headed to my couch

Yes, it felt like a satisfying amount. No dumping (but my dumping is pretty unpredictably random, and thankfully rare). I actually wasn't hungry after, which is surprising cause I'm a hungry hungry hippo these days. -

Stomach hungry but brain is not?
sillykitty replied to Brent701's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Full and satisfied are actually different sensations for me. I had to learn to differentiate between the two. I'd definitely recommend talking to your Dr. about getting on a PPI, pretty standard post op protocol. -
Stomach hungry but brain is not?
sillykitty replied to Brent701's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Feeling satisfied and full are two different things. The farther you get post op, the more capacity your stomach will have. If you are always chasing the full feeling, it will be very easy to overeat, both quantity and frequency. If you can learn to enjoy the feeling of being satisfied, but not full, then that will make the path much easier. -

sillykitty replied to Brent701's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
This sounds like stomach acid to me, not hunger. Are you on a PPI? -
