All caught up --- F you lunges and burpees though! 😠 😠
-
Me too! It's already mid June, I'm way behind on getting a pair of white pants!
-
Way behind here! I'm going to try to catch up on all the exercises, from the 8th through today. I hope there aren't people in the room below me! I am doing well on my walking a mile a day, a majority of days goal, I'm 9 for 11! Day 8 - Small things that make me excited Keeping two house plants alive for over 3 months now (a miracle!). Butterflies in my yard. Climbing into a bed with fresh, clean linens. Day 9 - Things that cause me pain GOT, ever expanding "to do" lists, my deflate chest Day 10 - What do you want to be remembered for My sense of humor and empathy Day 11 - Good cry/drawing/painting Nope Day 12 - Smile as much as you can Working out of town, don't want to look like a grinning idiot all day, we'll see B side - What is your current absolute favorite article of clothing? I can't pick just one! I have become a complete nightmare about my clothing! I take so long to pick an outfit to wear, packing for a trip has become an ordeal. It's all cause I'm insanely full of myself currently, and I think I look cute in everything 🤣 One thing I did not predict, is how much I'd love patterned pants

Agree, not much in the bag. It exactly covered the bottom of my air fryer, 12 oz of solid little guys -

Lol .. pretty much! I actually didn't love it, it is too cauliflower-y for me (not my favorite veg!). Yes, I ate it with the beef stroganoff, so that was saucy. It won't last me until Christmas because I sent all the leftovers home with my bf! 🤣 -

Post-Op Food Consumption/'Stuck' feeling
sillykitty replied to Lost&Found's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I think that’s the difference though about being in the weight loss phase vs maintenance. During the weight loss phase I would eat until I was full, and that was the end of my meal. During maintenance I have to eat longer and more frequently in order to consume enough calories to meet my BMR -
"Specialty Plastic Surgeon" too far?
sillykitty replied to mousecat88's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
I think the fact the office didn’t return my calls would concern me the most As far as distance, well it takes 2 hrs to go 40 miles here. Any surgeon I’m considering is at 1+ hour away. So I obviously wouldn’t consider the distance a deal breaker. I also want the absolute best results possible. PS is a huge amount of money & pain along with time off and down time. There is no way I’m going to go through all that and have any regrets about the results. That’s not something I’m willing to compromise on -
I'm so excited about... Protien powder???

I agree with this. I also became whey intolerant after surgery & had to give $100’s of product away. -
Lies to tell people about what surgery I am having

I would go with gallbladder. Honestly though, it will be a challenge keeping this a secret being a firefighter. You guys eat all your meals together, so it will be obvious to everyone how little you are eating. -
"Specialty Plastic Surgeon" too far?

Well this just increased my stress level 😧 😟 Maybe being in LA, the overabundance of plastic surgeons will work in my favor? I'm hoping at least! -

Holy crap! I need to schedule some consultations! I have a very small window for surgery, so have to get my dates! -
But the thing is ... that is how society is. You're not going to change society. IMO, you should strive to accept it. You don't have to like it, or even be ok wth it, but is is futile to be angry about something you cannot affect.

I don't have the black magic of @ms.sss, but when I make these (in a silicone muffin pan!) I package them two at a time in snack size ziplocks. I personally don't eat them (no love for eggs), but they are a nice little mini meals for the bf to eat throughout the week. -

Sued my ex for breach of contract... won ... currently having his wages garnished. 10/10 would recommend 🤣

5 days post op—the things they did not tell me
sillykitty replied to Jessviera's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
It's not possible to get 30 g of protein for 60 calories. There are 4 calories in every gram of protein. So the minimum would be 120 calories for 30 g, or it couldn't have that much protein, one or the other. Considering Genepro was sued and lost for making false claims on several points, including inflating their protein content, I would not trust this company or any claims they make. https://casetext.com/case/si03-inc-v-musclegen-research-inc -

Airfryer!! I made spinach fritters this weekend, turned out fantastic! -
I'm the opposite. I find it more awkward when people don't say anything. I'm nearly unrecognizable, even to myself! I've made a huge physical transformation. Not mentioning anything feels like there is an elephant in the room. I'll take a "You look great" any day over awkwardness. Now of course making a HUGE deal over it, or asking tons of questions, crosses over to awkwardness in the other direction 😂

That's totally a big girl portion compared to the first year or so post op 😛. I would have only been able to eat the beef OR the carrots, maybe one gnocchi, and a bite of the fritter (I wouldn't have even bothered w cauliflower 😂). Yep, totally full. I actually left a carrot and a bit of cauliflower behind. I didn't take an after pic because I couldn't sneak it w the bf here 🤣
