    Scar Tape or Cream?

That sucks. There are a lot of similar tapes. I'm sure they are pretty identical. You can find an option to arrive sooner I'm sure!

    Scar Tape or Cream?

Here's the one I used. I still have tons left and plan to use it after my plastics https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B002VE9AL8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    Scar Tape or Cream?

I used silicone tape on my VSG incisions. They are now just thin white lines. Not sure if it helped, but certainly didn’t hurt. I plan to use it again when I have plastics. The tape I used was from Amazon. It was inexpensive. The tape would stay up to 5 days with daily showers. It wasn’t the reusable type When I get to my computer I’ll link it.

Can you postpone the surgery? Would you have more PTO available if you did so?

Travel day This pic made me realize these boots have crossed over from too big to ridiculous. (they were much better at the end of last winter when I was at the same weight, I swear!) Going to have to retire them. Makes me sad because they are so comfortable, I can walk miles in them. I have a tough time finding shoes that are comfortable for winter travel.

    My Plastic Surgery Thread

Thanks for the feedback everyone! I'm super curious as to what my final bra size will be. My bf will be secretly so happy if his gf has G cups! 🤣 🤣 For those Breast Aug vets (or reductions, or lifts), how long until I can wear a real bra? I have a super duper big important meeting 6 weeks post op. I'm imaging it hard to wear a professional dress that wouldn't show a sports bra ....

    The Maintenance Thread

It always takes 3-5 days to see the scale move either up after high cals or down after low cals for me

Post op ladies who wear nail polish

Agree with this. I had been doing gel forever. But then a year post op my nails became thin, and would constantly tear. I switched to dip powder and have not looked back.

    My Plastic Surgery Thread

Interesting ... I just measured my rib cage underneath my breasts, and it is 30". I am currently wearing a 36-38" band. I'm really surprised because sports bras tend to be tight on me, and I still have to wear a large, despite having almost no actual breasts. Question on the front close bra. Does it have to be the specific post op kind, like this? https://smile.amazon.com/Marena-Recovery-Classic-Wire-Free-Bra-Medium-Beige/dp/B078SZZ56Z/ref=sr_1_13?crid=29OEXQVK38GOA&dchild=1&keywords=post+op+bra+after+breast+augmentation&psc=1&qid=1572190971&sprefix=post+op+br%2Caps%2C198&sr=8-13 Or can it be the cheaper ones like this? https://smile.amazon.com/Fruit-Loom-Womens-Builtup-Heather/dp/B00H9MWZ32/ref=sr_1_7?crid=29OEXQVK38GOA&dchild=1&keywords=post+op+bra+after+breast+augmentation&psc=1&qid=1572191038&sprefix=post+op+br%2Caps%2C198&sr=8-7 I'll be interested in what my post op bra size will be. I did the online calculator with the stuffed 38B bra I've been wearing. It says I should be a 32G! WTF! I swear I don't look that busty in my stuffed bra!

    Daily Menus for Maintenance

I'm not @ms.sss, but I maintain at around the same calories. I do practically no exercise (unless walking to my dry cleaners counts!). I doubt anyone who went through WLS believes they were born with a great metabolism. There aren't a lot of long term maintainers that post on BP. So who knows what is "normal"? Are @ms.ss and I the outliers, or are those that have to maintain on far less the outliers? Or are we representing both side of the curve and the average is somewhere in the middle?

    Medical loan for poor credit

Care Credit is generally known for being generous to people with poor credit. But the interest rate is very high. Your surgeon also has to accept care credit
