I told the people i work with only because I work at a small private practice dental office and me taking off affects everyone. Some were very supportive and happy for me while other were not. The ones who weren't were the ones who gave me the list of negatives about the surgery. These are also the ones who are also overweight themselves and for some reason won't consider the surgery. One of them even said it was because food was the only thing she had in common with her husband...i just figured for every negative they gave me i would give them a positive. In the end it is up to you on whether you want to be healthy. Only you know what you've tried in the past to lose the weight only to have that plus some come back. Don't make your decision on having this surgery based on what others say. Make it on what you know you've gone through to make you consider the surgery in the first place! OMG y'all I'm on day 2 of my liquid diet! My Dr only wanted 10 days but I was so excited I went ahead and started the 14 days! I felt like **** last night. My head was killing me. Today was the same thing. I'm glad I'm not the only one going through this. Does it get better? When?? Am I drinking enough?? Can so.eone lost what they consume in a day? I can't believe you think stretching you're stomach back out would be an option! We have come to far to even consider that! You go through so much **** before actually having the surgery that if you even have the slightest doubts you probably should not waste everyone's time and money. It's a lifestyle change NOT AN EASY FIX! Not only that who said any surgery was going to be a piece of cake....of course it's hard! If it weren't everyone would have it!
