:lol:I have a short pant inseam. With dropping the weight either my legs are getting shorter or the pants are growing longer legs.

I don't have any issues with hiccups. I have turned into one big burp bag. I can count on getting big burps around 2 o'clock every day.

I with you on feeling full. I did not know when to stop and would eat and eat. I did not have an off switch until I had the band "installed".

It is all I can do not to run into the exercise center at work and jump on the scale every morning I walk into the building. I think sometimes I hear it calling my name

What about bedside manners. I can understand the questions I will welcome the questions, but I will not tolerate bad manners. They are there to help us with the band not to make us feel like crap.

1 week out from surgery and I have noticed my chin and my shoes do not fit tight anymore :-). Thank you for the inspiration.

I am looking for a support group in the 114 / 35W area. Right now the only one I know of is in Hurst on the second monday on the month and I live out in Wise county.

I went to Dr. Snow in Hurst. I really liked him and his staff.

When your husband really does not want you to have the surgery and keeps harping on the PX90 exercise program :tt2: "I AM DOING THIS FOR ME"

My Grandma Liz told me "Think of losing and gaining weight like filling a bag of sand. When you fill it up you start from the bottom up. When you start taking sand out you start from the top down." :tt2: I think I will need something done with the sisters and the tummy.

:tt2: Congratulations are in order

Thank you to my thyroid medication I started taking it for the first time last week. When my neck and shoulders start hurting I thought it was stress or being in front of a computer for to long. After I took the med on Saturday my arms and hands felt like I did to much painting (I am not painting anything) or streching (not streching anything). I could not even hold anything in my hands:scared2: Did not take my thyroid med on Sunday and finally talked to the doctor on Monday. She said to wait until my arms stopped hurting and take a half of pill. Well they stopped on Monday early evening with the help of Alive and another pain med. Took the half of pill and my fingers swelled up like cooked johnsonville brats  Interesting to see what happens tonight when I take it. Because of having to take the Alieve and my bodys reaction to the thyroid med I had to push my surgery to May 12th

Have you heard back from your insurance company yet. It was my insurance company that asked that I get another thyroid test at the end of November 08. Once I had that taken care of it did not take that long at all. I think it all depends on your insurance.

My doc does 5 days before surgery for the liquid diet. I already told my dh that I am sorry before even starting because I know I will be a big grouch .

I have been approved by my insurance. :sneaky: But as I sit here wiping off my cookie crumbs from my key board  I am thinking why am I doing this. Then I look down at my big belly and say I need the help, in more ways than one .

I was diagnosed with hyper. I had to take an iodine radiation pill and go back to the endo next week to see if it is going hypo, I am also trying to get approved for the band (Insurance wanted my tyroid checked, after the six month weight loss, that is how I found out I was hyper). The endo and Dr. Snows office said I should not have an issue getting approved with a hypothyroid.

My insurance company asked for another THS (blood work for thyroid) Guess what, my pcp found something not quite right with it (hypothroid) :w00t: This means the insurance will not pay for a lap band until I get the thyroid under control. I am getting a thyroid sonogram done in two weeks to see what is going on  One way to look at it, maybe this is why I have not be able to lose any weight.

Before the band spicy foods would give me bad heartburn. Now I can eat them and enjoy.
