I weigh once a week. The scale where I get my fills has a two pound difference :tt2: from mine and my Doc's scale is a one pound difference. So, of course, I go by my scale

Wow, 6 months already, how time flies when you are having a blast. Had a tiny fill today and the TR scale is 2lbs heavier than the one I use weekly. I am very, very happy with the weight I have lost already.

You know you are going down another pant size because your pants make you look like you have a baggy butt.

I have been banded a little over 5 months. Last week I went shopping with my mother, first time she has seen me since surgery (becasue of where I live and where she lives I only see her twice a year). She took me to the petite section. I kinda freaked that I could fit into anything marked petite. I still see myself as size 20.

It was about a month after my surgery before I was feeling "normal", but I am a big ol baby :w00t:
-
What Mamadot said. When I told my doctor that I had to re-learn to eat after my second fill he said "gotcha".

Keep on rockin, congratulations :scared2:

Ok I am starting a little happy dance. I am only 6 1/2 pounds away from my half way goal. I am almost three months out of surgery and I never thought I would be doing this well. I am still pigging on sugar once in a while, well about every weekend :huh2:

It is strange. When I saw my doctor this month the first thing he said is that I have lost a lot of inches. Today when I dressed for work I felt like I put on my big sisters pants a shirt and I don't even have a big sister. :tongue_smilie:
-
To be honest I only walk 1 to 2 times a week. I have had restriction since surgery. I keep my calories below 900 during the week and on the weekends I eat what ever I want, but I still keep my food to 1 cup to 1 1/2 cups. I am getting hungry between meals now and Dr. Snow said I need another fill. I have one scheduled for the 22nd of this month. I expect I will need to up my activity level one of these days. Remember everyone is different when it comes to the band.

:tongue_smilie: Not that far from onederland. I figure by Friday I will be into the onderland, which I have not seen since getting married.

I have issues with Iron so I take Centrum silver which doen't have any. They are a berry citrus flavor and make me pucker and taste nasty , but it is hard to find a Multi-Vitamin without iron.

Congratulations are in order

My first fill was yesterday (6/18/09). It was strange feeling the band fill up. I could only drink a little bit all day yesterday, but today I was able to have a slim fast and Soup.< /p>

Surgery was on May 12th and I had my first fill yesterday. I have lost 15 lbs since surgery and 25 from the start of the 6 month insurance requested diet.
-
I had my first fill today. My doc wants us to stay for 30 minutes after the fill sipping Water. Then on liquids for 5 days working up to soft foods.
-
I was not paying attention of how much I ate today. I did not feel like I ate to much until I stood up from the table. Oh boy, I did not know if I should go do my little lunch walk or run for the bathroom :blushing: . Broke out in a cold swet sp? had lots of gas and gas pains but I did not pb. I made the mistake of not listening to my "little friend".
-
My shoes are getting to big. My pants are starting to get baggy :blushing: Get my first fill tomorrow.

Walking and I found that liquid gas relief made for babies is better than gas x strips.

(Sorry everyone this is pity party for me day) Well I have stepped into the scale trap. Every day I come into work go directly to the work out center and jump on the scale. I need to quit this. The scale has not move since I went on real food. I have started to track what I am eating, but it is sometimes hard to track three bites of something. I am walking about 15 minutes a day. It is just a great big ol "sigh" for me today.

I had to do the 6 month diet. I do better by counting calories and found that Calorie Counter, Diet Tracking, food Journal, Nutrition Facts at The Daily Plate worked for me.
One Year Ago

It has been one year and one day since my band surgery and I am doing great. When I started this trip I was unhappy all the time, my body hurt, I did not want to do anything. 65 pounds later I am happy with myself, body no longer hurts like it used to and I love getting out again. I am very happy I made the decision to get the band to help me with the weight loss and maintain it.
