Has anyone had tattoos to cover up your surgery scars? I am thinking of getting some small butterflies or something. 🦋

Thank you [emoji4] I am only 7 weeks post op and have been using bio oil so hopefully the scars will fade a lot more. The scar where the stomach was removed is in my belly button, so don’t think that will notice at all. Another one is really high up so that should be hidden in my bra line. I recon the surgeon did a great job. As you say I will definitely wait until goal weight before deciding if there is a scar worth covering. I am just getting excited for the day I can wear a bikini [emoji160] lol! If there is still a scar I will definitely be getting a tattoo, just wondering if anyone on here has already done it.

Why? Jealous of your success probably!! Bullies generally are weak with low self confidence which is why they feel the need to put others down to make themselves feel better. [emoji35]

How Come We Never Look Like We Think We Look (Especially in Photos)???
Boris replied to FluffyChix's topic in The Lounge
I know this feeling :-( I went to a friends wedding in a long halter neck dress. Whilst checking myself in the mirror I obviously held my (already packed into Spanx) stomach in and stuffed my boobs in. I thought I looked ok..... until the photos started. At least a few years ago you would not see them for weeks while the photos went off to be developed. Now, 2hrs into the event with several hours to go- I just wanted to go home after seeing what I actually looked like on everyone’s iPhone pics. :-( -
Baritastic is a great app. It has a checklist, a good tracker which logs your protein fat and carb intake percentage. You can set reminders to take your vitamins. X

Feb. 14, 2018 Sleevers
Boris replied to sleeved_Queen2be's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Is there a way on here to create a chat group for people with the same surgery date? It would be comforting to know I have a group of buddies I can chat to who are going through the same thing at the same time.x -

I have my sleeve surgery booked for the 15th Feb 2018. Have not started my liver shrinking diet yet so interested to know how you get on. I have tried to do meal replacement diets in the past and they were not much fun!! [emoji30] Keep us posted and good luck xx -
What do you drink on a post op night out?
Boris posted a topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hi, i have sleeve surgery planned for the 15th of feb 2018. I have a few questions to the lovely post op members. 1. I want to give up or at least massively cut down on alcohol post op. However I love going out and socialising. What do you drink on a night out with no gas, no alcohol and no (very few) calories? A night out on water is a bit boring!! 2. I have been active in the past running 3-10 miles 3-4 times a week. I have done very little exercise for the past 6months. But I really want to get into ultra fitness post op (obviously not the day after!!) Iron man, ultra marathon that kind of thing. How long did it take before you could do any kind of fitness training? Are there issues with getting the right nutrients for that level of sport? 3. How do you deal with situations where you get offered food and drink? I find I eat and drink stuff I don’t really want sometimes because I can’t stand the “what you pregnant or something” “don’t be boring” “ why you not eating? On a diet or something? You don’t need to go on a diet what you need to do is...(que rubbish advice that you don’t want to discuss)” I don’t want to tell people about my surgery so how will still be able to go out socially without all the questions? Thankyou in advance. :-) -
