    January 2018 Sleevers HERE

I have since went back to my circuit training class. I go twice a week but the scale isn't moving much these days I have to remember I've lost/am losing more than I would without the surgery. I'm currently 179lbs.

    Regretting it

I had my surgery 1/3/18 and I felt the same as you. It gets better. I learned to slow down when eating even that small amount. Set your timer for the 20 min, it makes a huge difference I no longer get that chest pain if I do that. I find that if I eat something too fast I will get the feeling you described. Also with time you will be able to drink more water. I can drink a cup of water almost regularly now. It's a learning process, give your body and mind time to process all the new changes

    RN twelve hour shifts

I took the three weeks off recommended by my surgeon. I work on the stroke, brain injury and spinal cord rehabilitation floor so my job is very physical. When I went back to work I had some burning in my incision but it was tolerable. I drink 16oz of water while driving to work. I bring a bottle with benifiber into the dictation room and I sip whoever possible. I eat breakfast on my first 15 min break and drink a bottle of water on my lunch break I then eat my lunch on my last break. I drink another bottle on my drive home. I make dinner and drink another bottle an hour before bedtime. I've found this has worked for me I'm two months out. Hope this helps.

    January 2018 Sleevers HERE

Surgery date 1/3/18 SW 210 CW 184 GW 140 I've walked since surgery and plan to do a step workout class for the first time since surgery( pretty nervous). I started out with following the diet stages by the book but this past week I've honesty cheated quite a few times. I find myself falling into old habits and I have to do a self reminder of why I made such a drastic decision for myself as surgery to only sabotage myself. I will do better for myself. Has anyone else had the same struggles?
  8. I was sleeved on 1/03/18 and I had that same feeling when I was moved to soft foods. I found that I wasn't chewing enough and the food I thought were soft actually weren't soft enough for me to advance too. Once I started chewing my food as much as possible and waiting a few minutes until the next bite, that feeling wasn't as bad. It's still a new feeling and I haven't mastered the feeling of full yet at first one extra bite I thought would be ok would send me into that uncomfortable full.
