I've always been extremely independent but not always by choice. Just sort of throw way the cards fell I suppose. Now I am 12 days out from sleeve surgery and have so many mixed emotions, mostly excitement to start this next big journey in my life that I've been so desperately waiting for. And yet the saddest emotion I have is complete loneliness. Anyone go through this alone? And how did it turn out for you?
