Well at the end of 3 days I am down 7lbs. I have found that I like warm broth while family eats dinner. Makes me think I’m eating something good. I have cooked several big meals for the group (5 family members). I am proud to say I have not even cheated once, not even licking the spoon! Good luck to everyone. My surgery will be next week

I am 47 my BMI is 47.6 I am 5ft 2in next week is my surgery on Thursday. I have lost 7 lbs on my liquid diet so for in just 3 days. My husband is finally supportive but was really scared for me to have surgery. He knows I have been trying the last 5yrs every darn diet in the world. We have a handicap daughter who is 28 and I am her primary caregiver since I stay at home. He works long hours and travels out of town weekly. Luckily my other kids live in our rent house next door, so they can check on us while he is gone. My goal is 150 but doctor says I can probably get to 130. Oh my goodness. Drinking so much water. I swear I am in the restroom every 30 minutes.

Day one of pre-op liquid diet... well I didn’t stop caffeine completely before I started. I did cut back a lot. So today since I’ve had non I have a headache from Hell! Hopefully by day 3 or 4 it will get better.

I know. I have set a timer for every 15 minutes to drink water. I have surgery on March 22. I am really trying to set a schedule. Today was good except for headache. Not caffeine at all....

My surgery date is March 22nd at 8am in Houston, TX.... HW 265 CW 253 GW 130 SW? (I hope it will be around 240) Excited now but I bet I’ll be nervous the day before.

I got the call from doctor’s office last Thursday. Insurance approved. Now waiting for the doctor’s office to call to set up pre-op and surgery date... ugh I know it’s only been a few days. This waiting...lol

Nice! How are you doing? My first consult was Jan 4. I just got insurance approval now waiting for them to call and set up everything. It has been a long wait. Finally have insurance that will cover it.

I try to avoid going anywhere downtown. Traffics really freaks me out! TLC is a straight shot for me from where I live outside of Houston. I do not even have to get on freeway. Alameda rd even though lots of lights...

I just received my insurance approval. They are suppose to call me either today or next week to set pre-op and surgery up. I am hoping for end of March beginning of April

The center I went to uses two different hospitals. One in network the other out. They asked me which one I wanted to use. I said dumb question I have to use the in network hospital otherwise I cannot afford to have surgery. Duh! Lol

I just got my approval yesterday from Insurance hoping to have surgery at the end of March beginning of April

I just received the call! I was approved. Waiting for them to call me back to set up pre-op and surgery date!!! I thought this day would never get here.

Thank you. I have tried with each insurance company we have had. Finally I lost count...4 or 5 now.
