I went to dr Alexander Moya in lewisburg pa. He was the creator of the corset body lift designed especially for bodies that have had major weight loss. He is at lewisburg plastic surgery. Look him up. He’s awesome. I had lost 135 pounds and he did a FDL tummy tuck and thigh lift my first surgery. Then I had extended arm lift and breast augmentation second surgery. Really takes his time with you during consultation.

Thanks for the update. So glad everything was ok. Good luck on your journey. The sleeve was the best thing I ever did for myself. You will do great!

Wishing you the best tomorrow. Let us know how you made out. I'm sure it's probably nothing but I know how you feel. I'm a worst scenario person too

What was your first food after the liquid stage?
Loder77 replied to QueenEB's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Mine was scrambled eggs with hot sauce and cheese. after 3 1/2 weeks of liquids and cream soups I was never so excited about eggs as I was then. -
I would have your doctor make sure your pregnant. I say this because I watch "my big fat fabulous life" and Whitney thore has pcos and thought she was pregnant and her pregnancy tests kept coming up positive even the one at her doctors office. It wasn't until they did a sonogram to find out there was no baby. I guess when you have pcos you can have false positives. But if you are pregnant congrats and what a wonderful blessing that would be. Let us know how you make out at your doctors appt and wishing you the best

Built In Early Warning System!
Loder77 replied to Seahawks Fan's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I had a hiatal hernia fixed during surgery and I hiccup when I'm full. I like my built in alarm also. Helps to not over do it -
I didn't want my mother or brothers family to know what I had done but had to tell them something so I said my surgeon was going to fix a hernia which was true since he fixed a little hernia I had when he did my sleeve.

I couldn't wait to eat steak again when I was given the ok to eat anything . I was scared but my husband and I went to Texas Road house and I tried a piece of his steak and it went down good and tasted great. I had only ordered a small chili and was full after a few bites. Now I only order an appetizer or child's portion. It's great to get full so quick. Love it.

I didn't have to have endoscopy but had one before and it's a piece of cake like previous people have stated. Did the usual ekg, echocardiogram, blood work, and had to drink white stuff while they had me strapped to this table turning upside down and sideways while they took pictures to see how I swallowed and how my stomach was. All tests were nothing to fret about. You will be fine. Good luck on your journey

Getting the surgery will be a step in the right direction to help your heart get healthy. It's amazing how the body can heal itself when we exercise and eat right and lose some weight. Best of luck to you on your journey to good health.

Pics of meals/portions PLEASE!
Loder77 replied to teacherlady095's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I'm almost 5 months out and lunch for me is usually 2 ounces of turkey and 2 ounces of cheese and I'm stuffed. If I have meatloaf or steak for supper it's only 2 ounces of meat if I want an ounce or two of veggies. 4 ounces of meat if that's all I eat. I get full really quick with protein. -
Only my husband, son and 3 close friends know. If I told my mother EVERYBODY would know. There are too many people that have negative opinions about weight loss surgery and I don't need that in my life. I'm going on 5 months post op and people think I lost the 81 pounds by walking and watching what I ate which is how I lost the 37 pounds before surgery. It's a personal thing and my husband and I want to keep it that way. You do what feels right for you. Best of luck on your weight loss

I let them know I get sick from anesthesia and got a patch which they put behind my ear. I think I also got some medicine. Didn't get sick so I guess it worked. Definitely let them know you want the patch.

Best of luck on your journey. The surgery is life changing. For the good. -
Bought 6 bottles of the blue raspberry but it left a nasty after taste that I couldn't handle. Ended up giving the other 5 bottles to my nutritionist for other patients to try. Do like the premiere clear fruit though. No after taste for me. Everyone's different though and I'm sure some people love it. Good luck

Sometimes stalls just happen. I was the same weight for 2 1/2 weeks then I lost 2 pounds in 2 days. Sometimes you just have to ride it out and it will start coming off again. Best of luck to you

Help? Advice? November 2017 Sleeved
Loder77 replied to dgnzlz's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I also got sleeved on 11/28/17 and I'm down 37 pounds so almost the same as you. I have stalls but don't worry too much about it. It will come off eventually. Just keep doing what you are supposed to and you will get to your goal. Our bodies are all different and we lose at different rates. -
I also hate narcotic pain meds. They make me nauseous. My pain wasn't bad at all but I did have a headache. They offered me morphine but I opted to get Tylenol in my IV instead. Only really got it the first day cause pain was minimal. They sent me home with a script for tramadol but didn't get it filled and didn't need it. I was sore where they pulled my stomach out but not really painful. Good luck with your surgery.

Are you able to eat solid proteins yet like chicken and beef? I know for me I was hungry on the liquids and the soups and felt like I could eat too much but once I started eating meats it was amazing at how fast I got full after only a few bites. Hope things get better for you.

Scale keeps bouncing. 204, 206, 203, 204, 207 OMG, 202, 204, 203.
Loder77 replied to Creekimp13's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I feel your pain. I was stuck at 200 for almost two weeks. Was really excited to get to onderland but didn't think it would ever happen. Now I'm stuck at 190 going on almost two weeks. This too shall pass. LoL -
The 6 months leading up to surgery
Loder77 replied to Uterno's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I had to do the six months also. I had to lose 10% of my weight which was 27 pounds. I started walking 4 miles a day and logging my food into my fitness pal. I had a goal of around 1300 calories a day. I had goals I had to meet such as giving up soda, eating slower, trying not to drink a lot while eating, chewing my food thoroughly before swallowing. All things I would have to do after surgery. It wasn't easy but I was so motivated to get the surgery that I met all my goals in 3 months. You can do this. Best of luck to you -
Liver shrink and 3 day liquid diet
Loder77 replied to stabb009's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I had to do a 4 day diet. First 2 were eggs cottage cheese and protein shakes the last two were clear liquids. my surgeon said he's found this to work to shrink the liver and he's had no problems -
I would definitely bring something for your lips like chapstick . I don't know about anyone else but my lips were really dry after surgery. everything else is pretty much supplied.
