Hello everyone, my name is Jannie, I am 46 yrs. old and have been struggling with obesity on and off my entire adult life.  I tried various fad diets just to lose some of the weight and gain more back.  My insurance company Anthem and Tricare requires a 6 month (CONSECUTIVE) physician supervised diet programs visits.  I started this journey back in December.  My PCP has put me on Phentermine several time in the past with no success.  I have tried several weight loss drugs from off online some with questionable side efforts; so rather than continue putting my life in danger with these different diet pills,  I have decided to do research on what would be the best thing for me and my life and a healthy future.   I visited this CFWL and consulted with one of the physicians.  After talking the physician and discussing this with my family I decided that the surgery type (Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy) would be the best thing for me. I attended meetings with my surgeon, and had my psych evaluation and 6 months of appointments with my Nut.  I was approved to have my surgery on May 22.   I’m here on this site to get and to offer moral and emotional support ...so message me because I need all the support that I can get.    Thanks for visiting my profile.
