Hi! [emoji177] Had my sleeve done 20th march, so it's almost 7 weeks post op. Since the surgery I've only lost about 5 kilos, in total with the liquid diet pre op included it's 11 kilos. I read everyday about people who drops several lbs every week and I'm sitting here like yepp.. not happening. [emoji17] I'm starting to loose hope, and I'm slowly starting to accept that I'm probably going to be fat for the rest of my life. I do exactly as my doctor tells me to do with diet and exercise, but still nothing. Sorry for being all negative, I'm just so sad to see that everyone else succeeds and not me. Someone with the same experience? How did it go for you? [emoji173]

When will the weightloss start?
Miss Sweden replied to Miss Sweden's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Eating what my doctor recommends. Mostly protein, little carbs. Chicken, salmon, tuna, vegetables etc. I exercise everyday for minimum 1 hour. Powerwalking, jogging, cardio in general and a little bit strenght as well by lifting weights. [emoji177] Be kind. -

Unfortunally (spelling? haha) most dieticians do. It's all about the money in this business. I have'nt had my surgery yet, but when I've had it I will start to take another Swedish brand named Vita-Mine, cheaper but yet better with only pure types of vitamins that the body can absorb and no sugar added at all. Don't know if they ship internationelly yet though. [emoji173]

Here in Sweden, where they're made, they're not so popular since they mainly contains sugar, sweeteners, and "fake" vitamins that the body really can't take so much nutrition from. And for that high price you can get better vitamins which your body can absorb. They're basicly just made by Swedens "wls experts" to milk money from wls patients. [emoji173]

Hi y'all. I would like to know if anyone else has, or have had, the same thoughts as I. I'm so confused, and I've been overthinking this hole surgery thing. I just want to talk it off and hear if there's anyone else. I'm soon to be sleeved, only waiting for a date now. And now suddenly I'm in doubt ('cause I'm scared). I've been thinking things like "will it really help me?", "can I really pull this off?", and "what if I just tried low-carb diet one last time..?". I'm so worried that I will fail to loose weight, and that I will missbehave when I'm sleeved. I have never been in doubt before, but now when it's so close... damn! I hate this. Is it normal to have doubt before undergoing life changing surgery? When will it go away?
