So I am 2 weeks post op and still having trouble getting in enough water and protein and even some vitamins. I don't want to be that person who is obsessed with the scale but I don't think I'm losing weight is this normal? Am I doing something wrong? Can anyone relate or have any advice? I guess I failed to realize that my body is healing and I kind of get discouraged because they see all these people who had surgery around the same time as me posting how they've lost 15 lb or you no more so I expect to the kind of do the same thing but everyone is different for sure I know that I am losing but I'm not losing as fast I don't think I can see a change in my face mostly. I was told not to get my incisions wet but the sterile strips already came off and I replaced them with bandaids so Since I still have them cover should I be Okay? Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app

Just got registered. Waiting to be taken to the back. I am set to start my surgery at 10:30. So far my Drs on time with his surgery crossing my fingers it stays that way. I'm so excited. Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app

I love this so much. I felt a little tired this morning and I'm not sure if it's cause day 4 of my liquid diet or what but I needed a pick me up so I grabbed a carmel premier protein and went to starbucks and got me a double shot of espresso over ice in a venti cup and added my carmel premier protein and made Iceed coffee. Today's my Big day too. I too am leaving 4 kids and my hubby to go have surgery. At first I felt selfish but I always put them before my own want and needs and that's how I ended up like the because I neglected my own health in order to make sure they were always happy and healthy. For once I need to put myself first and I need to take care of myself in order to take care of them. I know it's hard to leave them but you're doing the right thing for yourself in order to have a good future for all of you. Good luck today sending good vibes. I will see you on the losers bench. I am just 2 days away from my surgery and kind of freaking out. Where has time gone? 2 weeks ago when I started my liquid diet I was sure that time was gonna go as slow as a turtle. But nope it has flew by way faster then I expect for sure. I'm so Happy. I have stuck to my liquid diet for the past 2 weeks with out cheating and I even has to cook for my kids and Hubby and thought for sure it would be a challenge surprisingly it wasn't and I am so happy I was so strong and didn't give in or give up despite my hunger pains in the beginning. 1/23 @ 8:30 is my check in and im sure tomorrow will fly by I have a parent teacher conference at 9am dentist appt at 1pm My boys have a basketball game at 3pm and then I have to go home finish packing my kids to go to my mother in laws and then a tenant meeting for my appointments because I live in a gated community and then cook dinner and get my kids homework done and take everyone a bath and then its bed time. You can do it. Trust me. I seen my Dr and when I seen him in December he told me I had gained 15lbs since I last see him last year well He gave me till Janurey 3rd to lose 5 to 10 pounds and I didn't think I could because of Christmas and New Year's it felt impossible so after Christmas I cut out soda to start and store eating sweets when I went to see him I lost 10lbs and since I started my liquid diet 10 days ago I have lost an additional 15 lbs and I am completely shocked.
