Sounds like it could be acid. Try taking a Pepcid or something for immediate acid relief.

My surgeon used a 34 French Bougie. I guess he’s fancy [emoji6]. I had one day of nausea during my first week post op.

I was nervous too until I found Dr. Illan at BariatricPal Hospital MX. I’m scheduled for 2/7 and I’m confident I made the best decision. The doctor and his staff have been such a huge help in this process. Can’t wait until my surgery. -
Surgery date is 2/7.... pre-op diet starting on the 28th. So excited [emoji4]

Just make these last days count and I’m sure you’ll be fine. My pre-op diet is only 10 days but it’s a liquid only diet. Protein shakes, broth, etc. -

Also, I’ve found the Premier Protein shakes to be pretty good. I tried the caramel today and it was good. -

We should all meet up for a broth party after surgery lol. I’m having surgery in Mexico as my insurance doesn’t cover the surgery. I will be on a 10 day pre-op diet liquid starting on the 28th. I’ve already started cutting carbs and caffeine in preparation. I’ve been on Weight Watchers which is high protein. I’ve lost 30 pounds on Weight Watchers but soooooo ready to have surgery and stop the yo-yo dieting. -
